How many stable OC's above 4Ghz do we have?

    Just out of interest.

    How many of you run 9xx Phenom II's 4Ghz++ 24/7 99% stable???

Personally I couldn't care less if it does 8Ghz unless you can actually use the thing for any length of time for anything useful.

Im more interested in pre C3 so please state what revision you have

Well, if you see my sig...:P

It does 3996 stable at 1.52v, though I need about 3-4c more in cooling to actually label it as "stable". Fails OCCT within 10 minutes at that speed, though I've ran 3996 with a 2.6 Ghz NB speed for more than 4 days straight, GPU Folding, gaming, and benchmarking just fine.

    Runs 3DMark06 @ 4125, 1.55v. (Its a C3)

Then you could probably raise the clocks one notch and hit the magic 4g without having stability issues

Yeah, I would but OCCT and Prime feel to proving otherwise. Temps are just too high under 100% load.

Mine is OCCT stable as long as I keep load at 43C max. Other wise OCCT could fail.
I do not consider it my "stable" setting since it is so dependent on keeping that max load temp but still I can do OCCT so yeah.
    It is C2

I'm stable 24x7 with the setting in my signature. However, I keep my room around 17C or 18C and I have lots of fans.

    my 965 is a C2 (watercooled)
    1hr occt stable at 200MHz x 20 at 1.536v
    with 2600Mhz NB at 1.3v
    1600DDR3 at 1.65v

raising the htt results in errors in occt when i reach that magic 4ghz barrier.
i can bench with higher nb and mem clocks, but it´s not occt stable anymore.

the only reason why i´m not running 4ghz 24/7 is that the msi gd70 deactivates CnQ when the multi is set higher than 18.5.
so my 24/7 clock is 211x18.5 at 1.476v with higher nb and ram clocks.

Ive been running 4.2ghz for over a month since I recieved this cpu on 11/19. its prime stable at 4.1ghz 1.53v but the 1.57v it needs for 4.2ghz cant be cooled by my watercooled setup at a prolonged 100% load. 4.2ghz is stable for everything except prime......now if I keep the temps under 40c while priming 1.57v then its prime stable, heat is the culprit holding back 4.2ghz prime stable.

I am currently reviewing some CPU's... All are C2 and this is my stable record thus far on a 64-bit system so I am quite sure that is what's holding me back:
    Phenom II x2 550BE
    CPU: 200 x 19.5 = 3900mhz @ 1.5000v
    NB: 200 x 12.0 = 2400mhz @ 1.3625v

    LinX/Prime95 stable.

I need far less voltage on a 32-bit OS and I am quite confident this one is a 4GHz chip on a 32-bit OS ofc.

    I'm running a 965 C3 at 4.4GHz @ 1.5v, NB at 3.2GHz @ 1.325v in Win7 x64, but it's on phase. Haven't done a prime or OCCT run, but I am running a few @home programs on all 4 cores @ 100% for days at a time w/o stopping and no crashes.

    On my previous 955 C2, I was at 4.2GHz @ 1.55v with the NB at 3.0GHz @ 1.30v on the same 64bit OS.

Wow, you gus are pushing some serious volts through those things for 24/7. I wouldn't go near 1,5V 24/7 on my chips, be it Intel or AMD
Well, an i7 @ 1,5V would produce like 300W of heat anway

    24/7 settings

On 2 cores it needs 0.05V less for that frequency

Oh, the real voltage is 1.5875V with drop to about 1.56 on load with prime. I know it's a little bit high, but I don't care,
because 965 C3 is on the way, I'm just waiting for new delivery in Bulgaria.

The thing is that I got two 550 just to play with them and see if they can unlock. After the second one unlocked fine and can do
about 3550 with default voltage, also 4GHz capable, I replaced my old 940 which was able to do 3.9 with 1.55V.

My C2 can do 4GHz WCG stable at 1.4v, but I'm using passive cooling so I leave it at 3.7GHz 1.32v
