I'm have all that except I'm on a UD3R. I'm working on 500x8 right now and almost there. I'll post my full settings when I'm done.

I can help you with this one my friend. You need to make sure your MCH Ref Voltage is perfectly centered or, happy. Then you need to work your CPU Ref up and down until it settles where it likes and it takes a couple of times to get it just right.

You should be able to watch your temps level out and reach the highest levels you have seen when you get it centered just right while under load. You will also notice that your temps while under load don't bounce around as much also when you have it just right. Also your temps while coming down from a load from testing, will go down faster right before the load hits it again then it should shoot right back up nice and level on all cores. Mine does the exact same thing but, I have mastered getting it to sit just right.

You will also notice if you are anal like me with things that if you test it while it is cold from sitting turned off all night that if you don't have it just right it will mess up at first when testing it right away after boot. If you have it set just right 100% you will hit those nice even high temps after first booting it up and testing it, which in turn equals those nice high GFlops as well.

P.S. If you have it set wrong a little you will also notice that some of the test will pass "utilizing lower amounts memory" but, the higher amount of memory test will fail that just means you have more tweaking to do. If you bounce the CPU ref up and down you will find the center point that is just right, it just takes patience.

I will let mine do a couple of small test and if it is good I will let it run until it frees up some space to where I should have about 3500MB~ of free memory and I will stop the test and run the higher memory test to see if it gets through it as well. This process saves allot of time IMO.
Thank you for the help, I completely understand where you're coming from and that idea.

I'm curious as to what the temps are of all your cores under idle and load. Could you tell me?

Yes that vDrop is normal I believe, that's what I get on my board with Load Line Calibration enabled.

I've heard you don't want to go over 1.44 for the vtt. The vmch on the other hand can take as much as you can throw at it with enough cooling. Mine's at 1.46 right now down from 1.50 cause I found I didn't need that much. Still tweaking so I might get it to come down more. My vtt is 1.36 right now as well.

If you use Linx or Intelburntest, you can get your system stable faster then including Prime95 in the mix. If you get everything 100% stable with Intelburntest or LinX then, you should be able to run your Prime95 for 24hrs without a hitch.

Make sure you don't have sleep turned on in your Windows Settings is the first thing I would check.

linX or IBT only stress for the proc right?yeah i know it will be faster way to know wether the proc stable or not compared to prime95..but even u passed the linX or IBT its still not sure yet u can survive blend proc, ram using prime95..if running small ftt yeap no prob u can pass it..saw your setup almost like mine..mind to share the bios setting?coz you running lower vcore 1.31v to run 4.12ghz compared to me 1.36v for 4ghz(500x8)

If your memory is off you get errors.

After a few days of testing with the new board I finally have a decent baseline to work with. I still need to transfer over my nb water block to this board and hopefully it will let me drop some mch voltage.

very nice hoss. Which memory modules are those? I have OCZ Platinum 1800MHz CL8 and can't run those low timings

This is my 24/7 clock. Worst E8400 I've ever had

    Hi Guys

Came over here and robbed these settings as a start point to get my x3350 crunching but I topped out at 8*480 (ud3r with ddr3). I need a heap of cpu core voltage (1.45) to stay stable but am thinking it may just be because this cpu is just an es version of the 9450.

Does anyone think it is worth spending the time to get this right or should I settle for a lesser clock (3.6) which I can get at around 1.36v...bear in mind this will have to run 24/7

Can someone share the bios template for ocing UD3P version 1.1 with Q9550 @ 500x8.5 and OCZ Reaper PC9200 running @ 2.00D?

Recently I used 10j bios and priming blend beautifuly for 20 hours and suddenly I've got error after that

My major goal is simple: achieve 4.25Ghz primeable.

    TIA, folks.
