As mentioned in the previous post, this is what lies under the film. Coated the back of the transparent acrylic with the same paint i used for the rad and fans. (Man can i find uses for extra paint lying around.)
And i finally managed to get the rad module mounted. (After lots of elbow grease and muscling in to place. It can be really fatiguing holding that mass of a cooling unit with one hand while trying to screw in the mounts with another.)
Now it was time to disassemble my temporary system to prep the hardware for its new home.

Holy crap load of tim under the heatsink.
Finally got rid of that bullcrap of a tim, it was time for the Two Towers to take over.
The oldskool d-tek will get a new lease in life. Until i go i7 that is.
And i made this nifty backplate mounting.
And with the motherboard decked out, it looks like this... (edit: Darn, i realized that my Dtek mounting in this pic was missing one of those little capscrews after i uploaded this post.)

And drilled the holes for the reservoir brackets.

Some updates: (though not too good)
System was 95% completed when my silverstone zeus unexpectedly died. SO i had to make do with a spare psu i had (thermaltake toughpower 750w). Resleeved it and finally got the system to work. Will post the pics of the completed rig once i have time to do a photoshoot but in the meantime, enjoy these pics of the building process. (while my zeus was still alive)
Acquired these cards over the last week. You will see soon enough why i chose this card over the regular 260's. (i was actually gonna get 2piecs of the 275, but they were out of stock everywhere. But at S$250 (about US$100) a piece, it was a steal compared to other brands whose stock 260 costs $30-40 more. Pre overclocked, HDMI AND a custom cooler. A no brainer.
Btw,this is just to supplement my gaming experience until 300 series comes out. My 8800gtx just couldn't cut todays games after 3 years of running.

Stock screwed on heatsink for the PWMs. Extremely handy as you will see later on.
Separate memory and interface bridge heatspreader. This card is begging for a mcw60 to be thrown at it. So that's what i did.
The only mod needed was to enlarge the mcw60 holes to 4mm and she's good to go!
Last thing to be done is to seal the holes in the pci bracket so that there isn't any hot back-draft entering the case from the psu's exhaust.
Decided to go with 2 cards with the advent of my dead psu (replacement psu is unable to power the 3rd card) and the lack of a third mcw60.

Radiator ready to be mounted.
Hard disk is going in one of the 5 1/4" bays.
And my modded sunbeam rheobus with modded knobs, orange leds and a custom acrylic faceplate as the original faceplate was quite unsightly. (Don't have many pics on the modding process for this item as it was over a period of almost a year before it evolved though different face plates, led colors and knobs to become what you see here.)

OOohh, great mod with the mcw60s! I also have two Palit cards that I havent fould a decent cooloer to. Might just put them under water now =) Will a Thermocill 120.3 be enought for two 260 (no oc) and a Q6600 (3.6)? Seems tight...

Amazing work with everything but damn you lucky man with the gainward 260's being so mcw60 ready i just got my second gtx260 Msi no ref and will have to heatsink this badboy to bits.

Thanks guys! Just happened to come across them while browsing for some 260 gtx's and noticed that their cooler was using different mounting holes. Did a rough fit test while at my friends shop before purchasing them. Luckily it played out well. Else i might have to stay on air. Don't think their cards accept full face blocks.
@ Anemic: I think the loop should be good enough. Just might need some powerful fans on that TC though.

Final few updates to this log. Here are the system pics without power. Decided to go with two different coolant colors. Red and deep orange (Feser orange mixed with some red). Gives it a clear distinction that there are two independent loops on the first impression. However, once powered on, everything's bathe in orange. (Turned out just as i hoped it would.)
However, one complication was that the custom spring clamps i ordered couldn't fit the tubing i used (Primoflex) as it was a tad harder then tygon. They just were not able to compress the tubing enough to close shut and hence, i had to resort to zip ties for the time being. (but luckily they seem to blend in pretty well)
But anyway, less with the chitchat and onto the pics you have been waiting for.
