doesnīt look too impressive for cas6 neo mike.
    17.254s cas7 800mhz
my 965 c2 needs a tad more volts, but this is at least intel burn test and 1hr occt stable.

i wouldnīt go for high ram mhz if i was u. try pushing that cpu, thatīs far more important than 1800 cas6...
not stable but just for fun 16.692s

btw... i experienced that ht sync flood error thing today.
i flashed to 1.8b3 a while ago and today when i fired up firefox my system froze.
no bsod.. just a reboot showing a post screen with the ht sync flood error message.
this means going back to rock stable 1.6b3 for me.

Well i have played with this board for 3 days straight trying to get memory over 1760 mgz thinking its my chip, and now i find there are others with this board stuck at 1760 mgz at least its not my chip , so this board has problems, i have tried 10 bios and none of them will allow over 1760 mgz. I have tried 1.3 1.5 1.6 etc no luck, and get alot of sync flood errors ?????. Lots of frozen screens out of nowhere to.

The thing i dont understand is Msi Max hit 1872 in his review of this board in the first few pages, and i think Chew hit 1800+ but aint seen it since, this board has been a real struggle to get stable to, im not AMD expert, but i had another AMD board recently and was not a problem getting it stable, time to move on from this board its eating my time up and im getting nowhere. I used to like Msi back in the NF4 days, ohhh well just my 2cents worth.

I'm not sure that it's the board's fault. Simply some kits work fine in one mobo and don't work in an another. This is an usual thing.

the sync flood errors are a problem of all bioses up from 1.7.
why do u want more than 1600mhz ram, just because others do it?
didnīt i show u that ur 1700mhz cl6 isnīt as fast as my 1600mhz cl7?

I would try to reduce the memory timing as at the current setting it's not really worth it as a lower clock with tighter timings will give better performance.

itīs not bad... but, what if u can get better scores with lower frequencies?
i wouldnīt call it bad, just a lil ridicolous.
did u delete ur screenshot? i canīt see it anymore... is this what u call benching?

    btw.
    bios 1.8b4 is out

    - Change ACPI module for new AGESA.
    - Fixed NV platform some CPU run wrong HT speed.
    - Fixed HT Link Frequency overclock hang when set EC Firmware to Special.
    - AMD DA-C2 CPU Unganged Mode support only and Shaded item.
    - Follw EUP request to set PCI/PCIE PME to disabled.
    - Add "JFP2 Power LED Function".

maybe this fixes the ht link sync flood errors.

well.. on ur screenshot u had 1700+ mhz cas6 and it was slower than my 1600 cas7. ok i had maybe 30mhz more on the cpu, but thatīs what u really should be concerned of. why looking for high ram clocks when ur cpu is holding u back?
u still think 1800 is worth it?

Yes to answer your question, my cpu is not holding me back im on air, max i will get is 4.2 4.3 for benching, for 24/7 you aint getting over 4gz without water cooling. Yes 1800 cas 6 will when benching give better scores in like everest , why are you so against 1800, i dont like the fact this board wont do it, some are saying it will, i want someone to show me it will, if not i will change motherboards.

Lest face this is XS FORUMS its about being xtreme isnt it ?

LOL because some of us just WANT to try to run 1800 mostly for benching why we spent the coin on the ram, and to try it on low volts so we can run it 24/7 at as near 1800 as we can cas 6, the only way that 1600 cas 7 can b faster then 1800 Cas 6 is if the NB/imc clocks r WAY low on the cas 6

then get xtreme and get some proper cooling and stop whining about the board doesnīt do 1800...
it does 1800, with proper cooling on the cpu, a cpu that is capable of handling this speed imc wise, and last but not least the right ram.
thatīs all iīm saying. why spend hundreds of $ on ram when ur not willing to cool ur cpu properly, so u can really push it and actually be able to use the bandwidth 1800mhz ddr3 delivers in more than just everest?

Im not whinning, your the one with the bad attitude , i have the proper ram and cpu and i dont need water cooling to get to 1800. If its about spending money ? then why even build your own computer ? if your going to cry about money for ram and parts, buy a sony or compaq computer already made.

Have you even heard of evererst, i happen to like everest, and higher ram clocks with low cas, and high cpu clocks help with super pi to, im done with this.

Mad, these boards shouldn't need extreme cooling to reach 1800 cas anything
