GTX285 various mods.. which may work for GTX260/280/295 also

try this:
solder leg 1 to leg 2 @ vr
set vr near 20k
solder uni leg to red point
solder leg 3 to ground

OK Napalm i did all, even used other ground point, also re soldered the mod point (the red dot on yellow circle 2) 2 times...no go it just don work on more than 2,12 load

i think i will have to forget about it

btw whats smtg ? solder the mod point direct to ground ?
