Very nice looking Eddy. I find that the more angular look on the new revised southbridge end matches much better style-wise with the MOSFETs

    that looks good.

i've got the koolance one fitted at the minute and the bolts are a little high. in the top slot, the video card won't latch properly because it looks like it's sitting on the bolts. i had to use a lower slot. your bolts look lower. it would also save a ton of pipework over the vr's. i have 2 mvr-40's with 1/2" tubing and it's kinda busy.

if it clears the top slot to allow proper fitting and latching of a card, i'd probably buy one and remove my koolance and the mvr-40's.

if you could integrate or fix the standoffs someway that would be awesome. from memory, i think the koolance ones are part of the block. the standoffs on your fc block for the gainward gs 260 896M are horrible. fyi: it also doesn't fit properly despite you assuring me it would. the black alloy panel on the right side doesn't clear a big fat cube component top right corner. i had to file the corner off it to clear before it would bolt flat to the main block. i also couldn't fit the horrible standoffs underneath it either because they warped the card if i did.

Eddy, Could you not move the bridge that connects the top and bottom halfs of the block so that its in the same place as on the classified block there for allowing the use of a full legnth card in the pcie x1

Please send this info with pictures to our support. This is the only possibility we get the feedback and make corrections. I would appreciate it.

This would cause total redesign of the block and also the sizes of the raw material we plan to use. But ill check for that possibility.
But there is one more slot free lower which could be used if the VGA card would be watercooled by single slot cooler.

All I was thinking is that you carnt single slot any of the new new ati 5000 due to the extra DVI

I kept an eye out for the copper/acrylic EK X58 Classified but only saw the release of nickel plated, are you planning to do the same with this version?

Any future plans working with solid copper or copper/acrylic?
    Got you...
I think we'll go also for copper acrylic version. If you wish for copper we can arrange one without nickel plating. This is the easy part.
The more problem making is that we would have to do something special which would make additional unique work for my workers or suppliers like nickel plating.

Very nice block. So the sound card will or will not fit the first x1 slot? The first post is confusing.

    EVGA FTW is next right?

Yes, you can use the sound card that comes with the board.

    EVGA FTW, you mean P55?

I was fully intending to get this motherboard until all the talk about the burned CPU sockets being from Foxconn and not from Lotes. Any news if they have fixed this issue or not?

BTW, I will only buy a motherboard if EK has a motherbloack(s) block for it. Keep up the good work Eddy.

I don't see a need for a block for the EVGA P55 FTW board. The P55 chips stays plenty cool on its own. Not to mention it may be a bit tricky do a block see the GPU covers up most of the chip.

Some Mosfet blocks might be nice though. They do get a bit toasty under load.

Ditto. Got an X58 Classified mainly because it has the full cover EK block.
And i suspect i'm not alone - Eddy should ask money to EVGA or something

    Hey, Eddy.
Since there are graphic cards being sold with your blocks mounted stock, why don't you talk to e.g. EVGA about mounting FC on their motherboards straight from the factory? Just a thought.

    Amazing block btw!

Of course every spot on a motherboard needs watercooling .

After all, this site is "xtreme" is it not.

Will the REII Rev. 2 block be available in nickel plating? Also, any plans for a Rampage Gene block?
