Yes, that's how you'd do it normally, but since Futuremark doesn't support 5970 yet, just save it on your HDD and upload it once it's possible. A regular screen complying with hwbot rules is enough to get ranked currently with HD 5970.

Couldn't get the CPU up to 4.85ghz so couldn't get 120k on water. Going to post up this 119k score and try AM3 and 3dm01 to see if its worth it to run them on cascade, then I'll run 3dm03 on cascade.

Nice! I'm looking forward to your cascade runs, big numbers are incoming, I can feel it!

Are you able to get your memory any tighter? Which kit are you running?
Are you running your UD3P? Performance Level?

    airgas

AIRGAS is closed here since Thursday... They will re-open on Monday, guess business is good for them to close for 4 days . That means no LN2 or benches for me till Monday. If I knew that beforehand I would have bought the LN2 on Wednesday

    Thanks!
Don't know why I couldn't get the CPU higher. The ram shouldn't have been running at 1066 with a 1:1 divider and the CPU on a 10X multiplier with only 515 FSB...
I ran the e8600 on another GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard and somehow I was able to run 560FSB with the ram running about 1066mhz...
    Whats the problem?
I got the two UD3Ps from different places, is it a different BIOS revision or something? One was from eBay new and one from Newegg....
I should have been running 5.6 or more on that e8600...
At least the runs were worth some boints!

NB runs pretty cool while the SB smokes...
Had a ~100CFM fan blowing on the SB and around the CPU mount...
The MCH voltage was at 1.8v.

Note: hope to be pushing 300 boints without Core i7 and global boints...
Got a P4 to test out, hopefully some nice medals! We'll have to see how the UD3P runs the old school stuff....

Hmmm seems there was a temp change in plans.......got 2 5970's sitting beside me right now, no clue for how long though.

If you guys really twist my arm I might be convinced to toss a w3570 on water and bench vantage again.

It's not a BIOS or memory limitation, I hit the exact same limit on my UD3P with my E8600, only difference is my RAM was at 640MHz.
Did you raise MCH ref voltage?

And please get some real memory, DDR2-1030 CL5 is lame!

1.8V on air, such a poor little chipset, and I thought I was crazy when I used 1.55V....

Can you overclock the cards this time?

03 single card should give some nice and easy points with the CPU on LN2, even with the GPUs at stock speed.

You should think about ordering more than 30 liters....

Do you have a 5870 too? You should think about running a 5970 + 5870 together because of this.

Actually, I reread it again and I'm not sure if hw points will be awarded for 3 cards.... Just run the 5970s to the limit.
