I ran the e8600 on another GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard and somehow I was able to run 560FSB with the ram running about 1066mhz...
Whats the problem?
I got the two UD3Ps from different places, is it a different BIOS revision or something? One was from eBay new and one from Newegg....
I should have been running 5.6 or more on that e8600...
At least the runs were worth some boints!

The MCH voltage was at 1.8v.
It's not a BIOS or memory limitation, I hit the exact same limit on my UD3P with my E8600, only difference is my RAM was at 640MHz.
Did you raise MCH ref voltage?

And please get some real memory, DDR2-1030 CL5 is lame!

1.8V on air, such a poor little chipset, and I thought I was crazy when I used 1.55V....

Can you get LN2 for your CPU now?

Or give the blue giant a spin....

No. Try to get LN2!
