    Thats a really cool idea...
How high can the bclk go on your board?
1.3x Vcore at 4.5ghz HT is very good.

Yah considering that was on stock cooler i'd say really good

Its a EX58-UD3R v 1.6, bclk wall is fixxed, won't match the EVGA but it can come damn close around 240 ish. Only drawback is 2 PCI X slots.

I can always mod out the UD4P though, that should be good for 235 once modded and has 3 PCI X slots. Let me know.

I'm going to try to get a i7 975 again to test or something but if it doesn't work out and I get some more nice GPUs in I might just take you up!
Right now I only am going to have a 5870 and a 5770... need more GPUs to make it worthwhile!
Maybe I can grab two 5970s...

Dont think i have a screenshot with all the settings, but here is kind of what i used:

    Vcore: 1.63 ( 3845B , they need a good amount of volts!
    Dimm voltage: 1.65
    CPU PLL: 1.8
    IOH PLL: 1.5
    QPI PLL: 1.1 or 1.15
IOH Vcore: stock, but 1.25 may help
    IOH/IC Vcore: just stock
    ICH Vcore: stock

CPU independance : LESS or Auto
    QPI signal: LESS

i always just use pci-e 115 mhz, for suicide mhz runs higher, so i know that wont limit it.

This is with E760, get bios S61B, nice bios.

We have contributions by thijs and billdavis with their i7s under cold, PcCI2iminal for the country cup and TheGoat Eater's Sempron 140 session.

Another score I saw yesterday was made by jakethesnake011, he has a nice collection of GPUs, 4870X2, GTX 295, HD 5870 and 5970.

We might actually reach 7800 points until the end of the year!
I am thinking I am going to keep a hold of this Sempron 140 and take it to Taipei with me and push it hopefully to a WR CPU-Z and other WRs on a 790FX-GD70 or better - - - I also plan on a bit of Destruction with my W3570s and 275s (will have 3 hopefully soon) as my "dead" 275 is now alive!!! (I'm a necromancer of HW) I also want to get a 965 C3 and venom - too much fun too little time and money lol - need a job asap

I have access to a 5970 today but don't have a Core i7 to test it with....
Its going to be shipped this week so no time to get a core i7 rig...
I'm going to try it with a watercooled e8600 and see if I can get anything out of 3dm03...

Seems to me if you pair that with a 5870 you can do some damage.

Update: finished the 03 run at 4.75ghz with stock 5970 clocks in W7 and got 118,987.

Update #2: ran the GPU with slightly higher core clock and got 118,599. Why lower when overclocked? I'll run it again and overclock the GPU even more....
    CPU bottleneck?

    This card runs HOT!
Was idling at 50C, turned the fan up to 100% (louder than other graphics cards fans that I've heard too!) and have some extra fans on top of it and it went down to 30C.
Its in a Cosmos S case now, going to take it out when I put the CPU on Cascade...

Yeah, hook it up on cascade, at 5.5GHz and with an overclocked card 03 will fly!

You can run 5970 + 5870 in CFX mode as far as I know, since they are one generation, just different perfomance classes.

Please keep me posted on 01 and AM3 scores if you decide to run it!
You'd need Win XP for 01 single card, and most likely for AM3 too, so maybe you should try to get the most out of 03 first...

    Thanks Don_Dan!
Leaned the OS up a little bit and am running it with GPUs at stock again, it should get 119k...
I'll pump the CPU up some more from there then hit the cascade.

Leaned the OS up a little bit and am running it with GPUs at stock again, it should get 119k...
I'll pump the CPU up some more from there then hit the cascade.
Try to break 120k on water, and then make some decent runs on cascade, 800MHz+ on the CPU should help your score.... You already figured you might be able to hit Top 20 global for 03?
