    Ding, where is your radiator?

I think you have your loop somewhat backwards from what it should be if your statement here is accurate:

THe outlet is the hose going up to the GPU, the inlet will go to the 45* from the reservoir which will be beside the motherboard
Having the pump below the GPU block is aesthetically pleasing in a way, but you're running straight to the GPUs and then the rest of your blocks straight from the pump? All that heat dumped from the pump really needs to be dispersed through a radiator before hitting your blocks. Especially since you have so many of them. In general, it's good practice to run from the pump to your rad, and in your case I think it's even more important since you have so many blocks. In addition to that, your CPU is next to last in line to be soaked, and usually you want it getting the coolest water since it's your most overclockable component.

Very nice and clean, though. I like the cable management idea that you have going, and your color scheme is very, very nice. The fittings also look great. I would just reconsider your loop order.

Your fabrication work has paid off Dingdong and the build looks really smooth as a result of it,
I do like the clean line you have going with your tubing and sleeving and the black BP fitting look sweet with the white tube.
Well done there mate, skip looks right at home there too, nice to see some Aussie pride.

Thanks man, there will be a radiator, up the top, I just forgot to put it in place I have considered this but from what I've heard/been told, loop order doesn't matter as long as the pump is straight after the reservoir, which it is. I don't think I'll be OC'ing much either, it doesn't really improve system speed, only benchmarks, the biggest improvement comes from an SSD which I've got covered

Can't wait for your build to pan out either!!!

    It does matter.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do as this is your build and you should set it up however you like. But I would have concerns about unnecessary heat dump if setting my loop up like that. I've been liquid cooling for about 4 years now, and back around that time MaxxxRacer, pretty much considered the architect around here behind the movement, wrote the guide that is stickied in the liquid cooling forum here:

Loop order is something that almost always confused people that are new to watercooling. So here is a general rule to follow. Pump>Radiator>CPU>GPU(if implemented)>NB(if implemented)>Reservoir. This is the most efficient way of setting up your system.
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...cer+loop+order

If you don't disperse the heat from the pump motor first through a radiator, then all that heat will travel off the pump and through every one of your blocks.

To me, there's always a balancing between aesthetics and performance, so I do understand the inclination to keep things looking as neat as possible. I think this can still be done by running the loop in the above suggested order, though.

Your call. Regardless of what you decide, I'll continue looking on with interest. Good luck!

Yeah, I live near Whitford shopping center.
Tuesday was getting a tad hot, but compared to Adelaide heat wave start to summer, ours has been sweet.

Keep up the excellent work there mate, it's going well.

Regarding loop order - this test report by Vapor is worthwhile reading -

Interesting test by vapor. Looks like my sabbatical from the liquid cooling section is catching up with me as I wasn't aware of his test.

Has anyone else tested this theory in the way he did? Perhaps with more blocks? Or by using fewer than 3 pumps?

    Thanks for the link.

Ding - you have my blessings if it makes no difference in temps. I'd like to see a little more testing before I'll believe it, but I may be wrong on this one based on Vapor's research. What I would've liked to have seen, though, are some varying configurations. He was only running a CPU block, and you're running GPU, chipset, mosfet, CPU and a RAM block. That's a lot more restriction and heat build-up. Vapor's 3 pumps and single-block configuration helped keep his flowrate up whereas yours will be much lower with one pump and several more blocks. And higher flowrate = lower temps. So I'm not sure that the two setups are analagous.

Either way, if I'm wrong or right, I'm glad that you had this idea because I may learn something in the process. For now, I'll stick to my old habits just to be on the safe side.

Hehe, TBH I've thought about it and am not too fussed, as long as my temps are better than air and more quiet, I'm happy I can understand now that in my situation loop order will matter because as you said, restriction = less flow = worse temps. Having a perfect loop order is something I'll sacrifice for perfect looks though, I prefer aesthetics over performance, just, in my case, performance will be the same I just won't be able to OC too much, but that's something I'm willing to take

This TR 140mm has its semi translucent blades? it has a hole for attachment of LEDs because I saw one of the PPCS has drilling and wanted to know if it is the same. and congratulations you being very good, even stole a few ideas to use in my mod, more like he's so ugly that I will not even post it here in the forum.

Wow cool, I didn't even know the fans has LED ports, it has one either side (looks like for 5mm LED's) which should light up the blades real nice.

Should be taking my gear to the powdercoaters this week.

    Hey guys!

Hasn't been much of a visual update lately, but don't worry, I've been busy, all I can tell you for now is that I'll be receiving parts from BitsPOwer and Jab-Tech.

Got my parts back from the powdercoaters today, it was amazingly quick considering they've got work till after Christmas, I didn't think they'd have it done so quick, and, it looks amazing. It's a textured black colour which matches the Obsidian very well I must say.

    Nough' talk.

    I'm back in black!

    What's this? :O

    Looks great

Got my Intel SSD too, downgraded from the G.Skill 128gb Falcon as I didn't need that much space, I put the extra cash away for an SSD for the lappy.

A different PSU plate which I did for a customer, slightly longer than mine, I also didn't have to do a cutout for the rivet on the left hand side which was good.

    That's all!... for now

    Hey dingdong, nice one

Can you show me back of your MB tray if you don't mind? I am thinking about tube routing and would like to borrow some ideas

Nice color theme. Maybe you'll use green liquid ? Can you take a few shots of the back of the case, where the cables and the tube runs ?

Thank God you covered those rubber things on the motherboard tray. That alone makes the case way way nicer to look at. Turned a dull case into something real nice - Congratulations!

I totaly agree with NaMcO about the plate that covers the back of the case, really does make it look heaps better.
