First there is a problem with bios password f/w issue (non win 7 related). OK not a major issue, more of an embarrassment for Intel. Next there is a (still ongoing) problem with supply that results in significant price gouging, which completely obliviates the whole point of the G2 drives. Then the trim f/w arrives and gets pulled a day later after numerous problems with bricked drives (Vista & Win 7.) Then the Toolbox gets pulled days later because Win 7/ Vista restore points were getting deleted when a manual trim was implemented. Intel has supposedly worked with MS for over a year to get trim right. Clearly they failed. They don’t even have trim driver support for their own controllers yet.
That might be part of the course for some companies, but from Intel I think these events can be classified as an epic fail.
