At the moment the SC-64 SF-1500 is the only one with SLC

But I wrote that these SSDs are non-consumer-SSDs.
It´s difficult to get one of these fine SSDs. (first the professional market)

EDIT: looking at the link to the photo of the box, have they got > highest price/ performance ratio the wrong way around?

I'm gonna guess the mainstream will be quite a bit slower with half the channels ?

The K5 can never reach 50.000 iops r/w in IOmeter

Thanks for linking that FEAR.

Those benchmarks are a bit of a disappointment however. The mlc is the same price as slc, but double the capacity? If so that is a high price for the performance. I guess that is due to only 6 nand channels?

EDIT maybe they did get cost/ performance the right way round after all

Oh, now I am really confused. The first drive was a sandforce controller(I'm guessing from the logo on the box) and these are indilinx? How much are they going for?

Those prices are cheap? Price per GB that has to be around a G2 price , but only a fraction of the performance......or am I not paying attention and missing something?
