    ~ 650€ (but MLC SF-1500)
At the moment the SC-64 SF-1500 is the only one with SLC

But I wrote that these SSDs are non-consumer-SSDs.
Itīs difficult to get one of these fine SSDs. (first the professional market)

Are they the same drives but just a different box? The quoted read/ write specs are quite different on each

Have you been able to find benchmarks for the mlc versions?

    Different drives and boxes.
The K5 can never reach 50.000 iops r/w in IOmeter

Wait, he get one today http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community...&postcount=427

The perf. must be the same like OCZ Vertex and Supertalent GX (all with indilinx)

    Or here... http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community...6&postcount=19

    Thanks for linking that FEAR.

Those benchmarks are a bit of a disappointment however. The mlc is the same price as slc, but double the capacity? If so that is a high price for the performance. I guess that is due to only 6 nand channels?

EDIT maybe they did get cost/ performance the right way round after all

Oh, now I am really confused. The first drive was a sandforce controller(I'm guessing from the logo on the box) and these are indilinx? How much are they going for?

Those prices are cheap? Price per GB that has to be around a G2 price , but only a fraction of the performance......or am I not paying attention and missing something?
