I was using F5 for a while and to be honest my Dominator GT clocked better with it, at least I couldn't get them to run as fast as before in the limited amount of time I spent with F3L.

No, it's the choice for OCers who don't need unlocking features. Less option = less code = less complicated

question, trying to unlock the L3 on my "deneb", do I need to turn off "Halt" in the bios to be able to boot after I turn EC mode to Hybrid and ACC to auto (or all cores/per core)?

Ah got it. So Looks like I might want to check out that bios for my 955 BE if it supports it that is.

    Thanks.

Hey Chew you shouldnt have given me that link for a stable 3.8 overclock, it worked like a dream, but it took all the fun out of it, now i have to go for 4 +ghz, , no im just playing around, it helped me understand the process of overclocking AMDS, thanks.

Chew, on that link about getting 3800.
I noticed you push the NB a lot harder than the CPU Voltage.
In my case that I am leaving the RAM at 200 and just doing the OC with the NB at 2600 and the raising the CPU multi. Do you think that is still the best way to do it?
Right now for 3900 I use .175 for NB and .150 for CPU.

I try to match the ratio that cpu is at stock.....an optimum would be 4000 cpu 3000Nb but not possible sadly so 3600 cpu 2600 NB and so on.

    Sorry I meant voltage wise.
I see that you have NB at .300 while CPU just at .100.

If that was my 955 it maxxed out at 3800 NB on ln2, while other chips I have have done 4500 NB.........voltage is always and always will be individual to a chip.

    small fft 8k 10K = cores.

    large fft 1024k 384k etc etc = NB/IMC/memory

very nice nb freq there mate, what kinda voltage u pumped into d imc?

    for a 2400 nb, i need around 1.2~1.225v.

anyone tried high htt oc on this board? just gave it a run lastnite, was surpised that d board did pretty ok.

Im using 1.28 nb vid. Nice bus speed there 300. I ran a little test of ram at 1600 cas 7 and ram at 1500 cas 6, and its basically idenical on everest between the 2.

good job there w/ d ram...

vdimm used for 1500 cas 6? i found that having tighter timing will tax d mileage more than having high freq w/ looser timing. there are too many options (especially d strength thingy) for ram & i have no idea how to tweak them.
