Sounds like a catch22 situation. TSMC currently is the only one that can do 40nm for them.
Yep. Both nVidia and ATi are being screwed by TSMC right now. Once their yields get up to 80% from the current 50%, nVidia will have released Fermi and any advantage ATi had by releasing a non-existent product early will have been wasted.
