I've been pretty happy with my i5 so far. I've actually started lowering the core voltage to around 1.21v while running processor at 3.9GHz (186x21).
It's been extremely stable and temps aren't going through the roof with just an average cooler. I wasn't even planning on buying this processor, but Fry's had a pretty nice combo (i5 and Gigabyte P55-UD3R) for a great price a few weeks ago....I couldn't pass it up.
