    Sweet!!!

Thanks Dingdong and jpm804 for putting me on the right track, realy do appreciate it.

Damm! thats why I love this place, the best people with the right info.

As I was only going to use 3x2GB of the Corsair Dominators.
I just looked for the one that stated it was for 3 strips.
I did see that #6 stated Corsair Dominator and just like a drop kick I took that to mean they where all for Corsair Dominator.
Just goes to show you what changes when you read it all, doesn't

No probs! You can use the #6 Corsair ram cooler for however many modules you want, 1,2,3,4,5,6.

Do you think the CPU block looks ok? Or do you think I'm better off with something like the Swiftech XT etc...?

Tubing will be a surprise I got sponsored for the mosfet/NB/SB so I got a special deal BTW, I don't have a HK It's a EK Supreme LT block.
did you decide if you were keeping the cpu block thats on there now? i was just looking at the MIPS site and i think the all black HK Rev 3.0 would look killer, but thats just imo...the black and silver HK 3.0 would look just as good me thinks.

I think I'll be going with the same CPU block but with an acteal top, I don't like the "vertical" inlet/outlet on the HK.

Case got delivered TODAY but NO ONE was home, I can't go pickup because they're located near the airport which is too far away! Looks like the weekend will be wasted and I'll have to wait till monday!

    My case is here!

WOW, it's freaking HUGE compared to my TJ07, so much potential too, loving the hot swappable bays, the stock fans are silent too so I have no idea why I bought the other 140mm fans.

Anyways, pictures in the coming days, I'm getting some steel tomorrow but you'll see what it's used for soon

Today started off nicely, got some steel from my brother and begun! The one thing that really "grinds my gears" about the case is the rubber grommets, sure, they're great so all forms of motherboards can fit but IMO they look crap, rubber everywhere! That can be fixed though, another thing is when the window is inplace, you can see half of the lower chamber (PSU) which looks fugly, not sure why they did that? Anyways, overall, the case is amazing, really good quality and my favourite feature has to be the hot swappable bays, I don't really know why I love them but for some reason, they're sweet.

Enough talk! This is where I started.

And this is where I finished, I still need to cut the CPU are out, cut some holes for the cables to pass through and make the hole on the bottom left of the bottom plate bigger so the case rivet doesn't push the plate inwards. These ofcourse will be powdercoated!

More soon ya'll. Needa finish cutting the steel then I can get it powdercoated/do mock up's.

i like where you are going with this dingdong. why steel and not aluminum? price or because the internals are already steel? im not knocking your idea, just curious.

    Hey guys.

Sorry I haven't had an update in a while, been pretty busy! Anyway, today I finally got to do a mockup of my plans in my head, it turned out exactly how I wanted, if not, better. Next to the motherboard will be an Iandh reservoir as soon as the arrive in Australia (2 weeks) with green coolant, you should be catching my theme now. I've had a heap of fun fabricating all my own bits, it so enjoyable, they'll go off to the powdercoaters to come back all dressed up as soon as I cut the SATA holes (You can probably see my very dodgy line)

I really feel like this is starting to take off now, I'm finally getting a replacement for my dead PSU which is great news for me!

    PICHASSSS

    Bruce the roo'

    Cheers guys.

Very nice looking so far. Separating the PSU area is really giving this case a new and better look imo.

The cuts you did in the motherboard tray for the cable management are just ugly you could have hidden behind the motherboard.. and that way it would look better ..
When will those bp fittings be avaliable for sale???
I want them for my project =)

DD - your motherboard tray and lower compartment idea is looking good.....

I might have missed it, but what size tubing are you using?

I do like the white tubing and black fittings. Also see you changed up to the derline EK LT supreme, think that matches your ram and board block much better

Love the green and black; plus the white tubing with black fittings look amazing. Question, I love how your pump is directly below the GPU block and allows for a straight shot with your tubing, but could this ever starve your pump of water or am I just looking at this the wrong way and the other outlet is actually the intake?

Using 1/2" ID 3/4" OD PrimoChill PRO LRT Tubing The best you can get!

THe outlet is the hose going up to the GPU, the inlet will go to the 45* from the reservoir which will be beside the motherboard

The last shot makes it look bent, it doesn't look like that in RL, you can tell from THIS shot.
