I think white/black/green would look pretty mean! (Hey, I made a rhyme :P)

Those BitsPower Fittings look amazing. I hope they are readily available here in the U.S. by the time I made the upgrade to the Nvidia GT300 cards and water-blocks. I might just have to change out every fitting in my system to those black beauties.

Looking forward to see what you do with the 800D.

    Thanks WeeMaan!

The Corsair cases are landing in Australia this week, it'll then take another week to get to suppliers, it then takes another week to get to me! Yay.

    Small update.

I got 3 1150rpm Gentle Typhoons + 3 Thermalright 140mm fans for the case. BOTH fans are completely silent unless I have my ear next to them (kids, don't try at home). Both are amazing fans, the quality of the thermalright's are great! They come pre-sleeved in some OK sleeving and with a black housing.

This XT block is NOT mine, it's for a friend

Thanks to John @ Jab-Tech for these, there was more in the order like fan pins etc... but you don't need to see them

The quality isn't that great, there are machining marks which defect the overall look of the block.

Dam Justin, that's crap, do you know what caused it?

Anyways! My MIPS package arrived! Let me say a BIG thanks to Michael who responded to every email in an instant and was a HUGE help! Thanks!

The products are amazing, I also asked them to included black screws but I'm liking the silver ones ATM. Sorry about the "dust" and "grime," it's a PITA to get rid of.

Thanks to all your comments all!

Do you think the CPU block looks ok? Or do you think I'm better off with something like the Swiftech XT etc...?

Excellent to see you back up and building again dingdong.

Sux about your PSU, sorry to hear about that.

I am also interested to know more about the WC block you have on your RAM.

    Where did you get it?
    What is is it called?
    Who makes them?
    How effective are they?

Will they work if you only have 3 2gb ram sticks, like in a rampage II extreme.

Come on spill the beens, please

Its ok I found them, I just clicked on the picture/link http://www.mips-computer.com/

You found em,' All you had to do was click the banner at the top of my post with the pictures. This is the corsair edition which you can use with any corsair ram as long as its got the Dominator heatsinks. All you do is take of 3 screws, take the top heatsink off and then screw the into the block. I haven't used it yet but I presume it'll be VERY efficient, better than air anyway.

    Thanks dingdong for that.

I only found it by clicking on the banner at the to of your post, thats what I meant by picture/link.

I was looking at this one, its for 3 RAM strips.
I want to use this memory,
    Corsair Dominator GT PC3-1866 C7 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3

This is from there web site on mounting,

RAM COOLER 5 inkl. 3 RAM Module Nickel POM Black

    MOUNTING:

    1. Loosen (not complete unscrew) the 3 screws from our RAM Module

    2. Put some thermal paste on your ram chips or a thermal pad (better for later RMA)

    3. Insert the prepared RAM into the RAM Module and press the two ALU halves together by screwing the 3 screws firmly

    4. Check the sitting of your RAM if both ALU Plates have contact with all the RAM Chips.

    5. Repeat this for all your RAM Modules.

    6. Put in your prepared RAM Modules into the RAM Slots of your Mainboard.

    7. put a little of thermal grease on the Top of the RAM Modules an screw all Modules with the copper Cooling Plate.

    8. Mount your Fittings and make your Tubing, ready !!!

For #2 I take it, that you need to strip down the RAM stick to get to the chips to apply the TIM.

As in step #3 it sounds like there are ali plates that go down the sides to contact the chips.

    Does that sound right?

    As it states
IMPORTANT: The deinstallation of the stock Heatspraders may void your warranty.

Have you found out about this?

Think you need this one for the corsair dominators:

RAM COOLER 6 ´Corsair Edition´ Nickel POM Black

These ones you dont need to remover the heatspeaders from the memory chips and void the warranty, but just replace the heatsink fins with this block.

Exactly, you don't even have to remove the heatshrinks which is AWESOME as you can't possibly break the ram.

@ kgtiger, you have the instructions for the ram cooler (Which ISN'T for Corsair ram)

You need the dominator version as said above

    Loonym...You are missed.

    The element of one

    Breathe me in
    Breathe me in

I disbelieve in separation. I close my eyes to see you.
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
I, I disbelieve separation. I close my eyes
    there's no escaping me
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
In your heart in your soul. I perceive rejuvenation

Breathe me in. I am forever. Deep within I am eternal.

I will return to you. I am with you always. I will never turn away from you.
