for 1.28vtt you would set 0.810v to get 0.760v in ET6.
Hmm,, I will say this. I set my MCH voltage to 1.50 and if I set the MCH reference to what the Easy tune states is default ".76" it will not boot. So what you are saying, is that I should aim for the .76 but some how figure out the math to get it to be that after I move my MCH voltage? If so what is the math formula? I still wish that the application would just say what the actuall setting is though, that would be to easy right .

just set vtt to 1.20 and set your ref to 0.760v then move you vtt to what you normally use and the ref will track when you move your vtt.
so if your use vtt 1.24 the ref will be 0.785 in bios, move vtt to 1.28v and ref will change to 0.810v in bio but in ET6 will show 0.760v

I will try to do this and see what happens. It would still be easier if it just told us what it is actually set to.

Thank you for that. I set 1.42 and let it set the .899 and it is unstable. I would like to see what it is actually using it self when set to auto and everything seems to be stable. There should be a way to pull this info from the motherboard with a program some how.. Some coder out there should make this one for us .

im still not sure i get what your trying to do.
you say you set 1.42vtt and left the ref on auto and it's unstable?correct?
what happens when you set 1.42vtt and manually set 0.899v?is it stable then?

No, I am saying that I set the FSB Term Voltage to 1.2 and then set the CPU Ref to .76 "both of their defaults". Then I set the FSB Term back up to 1.42 and let it auto change, the ref to .899 and went in to Windows and that was unstable. Now, I just now went back in to the BIOS and set the CPU Ref to .939 and didn't touch the FSB Term which was set to 1.42 when I started this, and it is stable 100%.

I am wondering what the Motherboard sets its CPU Ref to when it is set to Auto because on Auto I was stable "when I didn't have a number plugged in to the CPU Ref".

well setting cpu ref to 0.939 while vtt is 1.42v isnt default cpu of 0.760v in et6
    it's 0.800v.

ok i see what your saying now.when you just did the auto and the manual test was the mch ref the same for both?

also try setting it to normal.thats what i use for my dual core for cpu ref.

Yes the only thing I changed was the fact of the auto on the CPU Ref. I still want to see what it is setting everything to on auto though .

    lpt cable

Anyone know where I can find a cable for my parallel port (lpt).
I need to hook up a parallel port eprom programmer to my ud3p.
I know that the motherboard has a header for the lpt port, I just need the adapter cable and back-plate connector.
    Thank you
Part # would be great also.

Sorry for the trivial interruption; but if anyone needs this cable it can be found here:
    Amazon.com
IDC 10 / DB9 Male, Motherboard Serial Port Connector cable $6
IDC 26 / DB25, Motherboard Parallel Port Connector cable $6
Now carry on with your overclocking adventures and good luck.

anyone know if the CPU Termination 1.3200v is broken or just misreport from ET6?

If I set 1.3200v CPU Termination in bios, ET6 will still report 1.300v

1.32 vtt does not work on any bios that I know of for the 1.0 P and 1.1 R boards ive checked. When checked with a dmm 1.30 actually does about 1.30-1.31 and 1.34+ actually does roughly 0.15 lower than whats selected in the bios or et6.

My point exactly, sorta . I want to be able to see what is actually being set every where, that would be awesome.

    1.36v mch is safe

500fsb will mostly need 1.38v ~ 1.40v, I would say max safe on air is 1.40v

make sure to set the MCH Ref to 0.800, I can't pass this test unless I use 0.800 MCH Ref, First set 1.200VTT, set the MCH Ref to 0.800 and up your VTT to 1.360 again, the MCH ref will raise automatically when you bump your VTT

yes i did that, pl10 will go for 10 hours, pl9 crushes, and is only fsb 475 1:1 ratio when the memory is rate for 1066 with 5-5-5-15 so it shoudn't be a problem.
Now i am trying with mch 1.38 with pl9
