What's in all the temperature fuss time after time... I mean, if the component X is designed to operate in like 300'C. So what, only thing that REALLY matters is power consumption (how energy efficient it is) and the real power in the chip. Aka how it performs against other contenders in the market.

FFS. Figure it out one time more, what-the-f00k does it matter if a temperature reading is 50 or 5000 or 300? It's not made out of water, so it doesn't boil =D Does a bigger reading make ppl cry? Not.
Overheating/overvolting the chip will also lower it's life expectancy. But who around here has a chip longer than two or three years anyhow?
