Guys, I have the 6GB Triple Kit Corsair 1600 7-7-7 but I have to use 1.66v in bios to maintain stability @1600, Health Status reads 1.645v. Any one is using same kit? I have read some ppl can run this ram @ 1600 7-7-7 with 1.62v but I'm not sure.

I'm using the Corsair XMS3 1600MHZ CL7 (ver. 2.2) too, and the actual Vdimm drops on my MB (DFI UT X58) too. 1.665v BIOS-set ends up as 1.64v BIOS-report, 1.64v in SG (DFI's monitoring SW), and 1.65v in Everest. It has been running stable with this Vdimm on it's rated speed, but raising the tRCD makes it more stable, including on this HyperPi32M run @1680MHZ 7-8-7-21 1.65v and CPU @4.41GHZ(210x21) 1.32v.

I have been playing with this kit, and it seams to run much more stable with tRCD one notch higher without loosing any bench-number, but I could never get it stable with 1.62v at these speeds.

Thanx for clarification, does this ram use BBSE chips? and you was able to get stability with this ram @ 1600MHz 6-7-6?

You are welcome . I have never taken off the cooler to look at the chip, but as far as i know all Corsair ver. 2.2 (including this one) are Elpida BBSE chip.

I have only been playing with BCLK210 and 211, and tested CPU and RAM stability only at 211x19, 210x20 and 210x21, and never got a chance to play with all the options for the RAM stability @1600MHZ. But I have seen others to run some kind of stability test @1600MHZ 6-7-6-18 1.635v with these sticks.
