    Hi@all
Your thread and the article @anandtech makes users worlwide crazy Young OC junkies here in Europe means P55 is .
It s a nice socket with only little problems .

    @ raju
    - Can u tell us your proffesion ?
    - Why not u show burnout socket with videocam ? ....youtube
    - Before and after OC
    - Clear new boards with LOTES vs Foxconn socket with new CPU
Only that makes 100% clearance for xtreme overclockers.

If not, 100000 technical people means you and the other "burnouter" are
only crazy panic entertainer vs Foxconn . U know the technical conditions ,that socket 1156 has 75Vcc pins less vs socket 1366 ? ..... its better manufactures limit VCore.

See u in David Letterman Show ?

Oh come on. Many here now Rajinder and I don´t think thats neccesary.
Also he´s not the only person reporting this. Or now it´s not only OC that needs to be video-taped to probe it?

    Count the VCC pins here;

    (Page 86 ~ 88)

    (Page 44~47)

It' around 180 for 1156 to over 250 for 1366. So yes around a 75 pin gap.

Why do you need to see it on video? Do you work for David Letterman? (I assume it's cable/boom duties)

No video- no reliably informed- about your proper working conditions
Any sh*t is on youtube, why not so "meanfuly things" like yours ?
Its an easy way to use. When we will report @Anandtech burn socket like yours, we can use 2V Vcore with boxed cooler and send the pics to stupid online warriors too.

That would imply I am talking BS. You might as well ask for video evidence to everything and from everyone. Don't like it? Don't read it, simple.

So even Foxconn uses Lotes sockets.

    Doc -
Are you sure that's the LOTES Socket?

This is mine on my UD4P -

    and it's a FOXCONN.
I think my eyes are going anyway.
Anyway. Whoever made the socket on my board did some piss poor work.
I rechecked it 3 times and it's all good on the clampage but I don't like that offset at all. I'm sending GIG a pic.

    Hi chuck,

As I mention, looks like A Lotes socket design if you compare it to these pictures that Lathode very kindly posted here. LOTES Socket on top and FOXCONN below I think
Maybe that is the new FOXCONN socket design?

Many high credible peeps have reported this burn phenomena (Massman, SF3D and now Raju) when doing high overclocks that something really goes wrong... And yes these guys usually don't do 24 hour prime sessions just raw LN2 or Phase benching...

There's a design flaw and their intention is NOT to bring a particular brand down, but to help the identify the problem. So it can be corrected before more end users(read overclockers) are being involved...

And really 2 volts for a boxed cooler under stress, that's a video I would love to watch, even on youtube...

Plz don't act silly as you really are making a fool out of yaself... we got an issue here , just like it started with the Hyper rams ; believers and non believers at start... manufacturers withdrawing their products and so on...

The truth is out there, it's up to you if you want to see it : yes or no

He's sounds like he's involved in the design and is pee'd off that this thread has exposed some serious flaws.

If you don't have anything useful to say here, then be quiet and stay our of this topic.

Make fun of some respected overclockers on this forum or trying to make them look like idiots isn't appreciated, so watch it.
