Word is that Foxconn have changed the socket top plate in a revision to correct the problem. Not sure that it is trouble free now as someone in mainland China had a problem on the revised socket too. What I do know is that DFI, EVGA and MSI have moved production over to other socket vendors.
completely moved to LOTES and no other sockets?
