    Here's my effort

This is my 24/7 setting- OCCT stable for 2 hours.
But I cannot for the life of me get this board to post at higher than BCLK 215, using multi of 19 and a whole range of relaxed memory timings and QPI VTT. I've tried the RAM and CPU in an EVGA 758 board (that's not the Classified) and for a start that recognised the RAM (Corsair XMS 1600MHz CAS 7) timings correctly (which the GB board doesn't, so I have to set them manually) using the XMP profiel. But mainly, it happily got to BCLK 224 pretty easily (the last bit with Eleet- sadly Easy Tune is nowhere near as good) LinX stable. So I tried exactly the same primary timings (11 11 11 28 88 1T) in the GB board, and still no joy above 215. I guess it may be the RAM sub timings which I've left on AUTO, or maybe the board has a wall.
    Anyone have any suggestions?

So i was aiming for 4.0GHz today and all went well till nvlddmkm.dll stopped responding.
Is there a nvidia driver out there that doesnt have this problem.
I tought i read something about it in this topic but im not finding it back :/

I tested the F9E and i have the same problem as with all biosses after F7.

I did find out what the problem is. I can use all my old settings exept one.

Thats the Uncore. If i change it from auto to any other setting the system will not boot.

I'm running 195 Bclk on 21x multi. Ram 1560. With the F7 i took the 3315 MHz Uncore speeds. But with all biosses after i'm forced to auto and that gave me 3.9 Ghz Uncore in windows. Way to high even on 1.52v.

And i dont want tot run high voltages. With the F7 i'm running 1.262v for the cpu in bios and 1.18v for the uncore. I have tested it a while back. And uncore voltage bump to 1.5 upped the power usage by 35 Watt. The V-core to 1.5 gave a 55 Watt higher power usage. So i want to stay low this time.

Its quite a stupid bug. I also tried 35xx but that did also not boot. If i put it on auto again it works perfectly :S

Ok so my new faster ram showed up today, through it in and booted great. So i was like ok lets crank these babies up. The only thing i did was change the multiplier from 8x to 10x which took it from 1528 to 1910. The ram is rated for 2000. And it didn't boot. had to clr bios and am back on 8x currently. Ideas?
    Thanks!!!

    *EDIT*
    running 9-9-9-24
thats what the ram is rated at.
    and 1.66v

i think to run your ram and the uncore at those speeds you'll need more QPI/Vtt volts.thats just what i heard
though.because the uncore(NB) would be almost 4.0GHz.ive seen some people use as much as 1.50v-1.60v QPI/VTT
    for those kinds of speeds

like i said just what ive been reading on various forums when people
have trouble running ddr3-2000.most think you can just buy sticks rated
for that speed and just put them in and fire it up and have it work.
im not saying for you to do this but telling you what ive read.and
also it all depends on the cpu,IMC how strong/good it is for how much
    QPI/vtt is needed.good luck with ddr3-2000

There are som basic rules that applies to the relationship between the multipliers on i7. If you set your memory mp to 10, the uncore mp must be atleast 20. On a 200 bclk mem mp 10 will run your ram at 2000, but also requires you to run uncore mp at 20 or more, giving 4Ghz uncore if you are using 20 mp (4 Ghz cpu).
Running this high uncore speed requires high vtt, usually around 1.3-1.4 on a D0 - but it is very cpu dependent.

I've got a kit of Mushkin Redline 998691 and am trying to get it stable at 2000. It can pass memtest at 8-9-8-24 timings along with 9-9-9-27, but when I boot into windows and try to stress it with linx it bsods. The only thing I have adjusted is my VTT upto 1.36, otherwise it won't pass memtest. Does it need more VTT? I've tried the ram at 1.64-1.70 and it has given me no improvement. The only other voltage that has been adjusted is the CPU one, which is 1.300 for my rock solid 4.2GHz oc. Any input would be appreciated. I thought I saw a redline thread somewhere, but I think it has been a while.

It is easier to test ram stability at lower mp, try 19. If you pass LinX etc with 19 mp, it is probably uncore that gives you problems at 4.2. Vtt helps with uncore.
It can also be that you need to up the vcore some, because higher mem oc can requiere higher vcore due to the imc.

In general it is much easier to run your ram at 8 mp with tighter timings vs 10 mp and relaxed timings, performance is almost equal.

EEK! Good read thanks for the link, but i just might run my ram slower

DRAM speed must be in a 1:2 ratio or less to Uncore speed which in turn must be in 1:1 or less ratio to QPI link speed (8:9 Uncore to QPI or lower is preferred as the more you approach 1:1 the more unstable the system becomes).
Ok so after reading re-reading then reading like 10 more times that article. I kind of understand things a bit better however i cant boot with an Uncore multiplier of 20 or 21 it makes my windows restart, this is well under the 4.0ghz it can handle. and if i understand correctly that would allow my ram to run at 10x191 for a speed of 1910
I see everyone else running this with more of a 16mp whats the deal?
