Man, I really wanna rebuild my Raven case now! I did air cooling to make sure everything worked and got lazy (and poor).

I have tryed this, but first, it make the top filing port of the rez not usable (without taking out he rez/pump) and make fitting the rad troublesome. Having both the pump Inlet/outlet under the level of the video card did not look good to me.

I am still planning on putting both the rez/pump next to each other, and they will go next to the motherbord tray. But I want to keep the top filling port fonctional.

Ced, with positioning the tank next to the 24pin power connector of the m/b , see if there is space for adding a few cm's of tubing to the top of the case where you can add a fill-port fitting. That is a possible solution to the specific arrangement.

Well, I though about that too, but the top rad is in the way. And I really do not want to cut that sleek looking brush aluminum top

What type of spray did you use? The sound "card" looks pretty well done.

I have the same board withe the same blocks. They sure do look sexy .

This is just a recommendation but this is what my plan is going to be when I build my rig. Have a 120.3 Feser rad on top for the GPUS, and a 120.2 Feser rad on the bottom for the CPU (even though they are opposite sides of the case this is the only way I can mount the rads without having to do a lot of modding or changing in the looks of the case).

I will be using the Swiftech MCP355 (Laining DDC) with the XSPC Res Tops added on (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=23357) and mount them right on the bottom of the 5.25 rack possibly using either a UN mount or just screw it in myself and jus use BP 45s or 90s to make the tubing path.

I know you already have you res tops, but just figured id give you another idea.

I got my GPU waterblock this morning, so I now have all the main parts. When I get home, I'll take some photos of the rad installed and start working on the support for the rez/pump. I'll get more work done this weekend mostly

You can always get the XSPC dual bay DDC res that firts in 2 5.25 bays and has capability for 2 loops easy. That is actually the route I will be going since it looks better IMO.

And the rad installed. I have some mix feeling about it. it does not sit flush at the surface. I will see about making something about it. That give me way much more room to work with tho, which is good.

Painting the back plates of your vga & sound card is really nice.

About the bottom rad, if the case bottom plate surface does not , you may use a radiator neoprene gasket, or make a custom one by filling the blank spots of the radiator's trace on the bottom plate.

So, some news.

I used some MB support to make the rad higher up and straight. of course I painted them black


I sued some rubber washer as the hole where bigger then the MB support. That will also stop some possible vibrations.

Much better no ?




So now, Question, Those fan will actually push down the air now. Turning them the other way around look really fugly :x What should I do ?



I need more feedback again on the pump/rez placement !

I was thinking this for the Video card and bottom rad. I'll get some bitspower snake thingy to make a direct connection (rez/VGA).




And the top Rad and CPU/MB, i was thinking something like this. Both rez/pump on the same side is going to be a pain because the video card goes all the way to the SATA port. And putting higher will make the top filling almost impossible to reach.

Can you turn that *enermax* logo (The black painted ones) the other way around? im talking about the fans now.. So that you still have that nice enermax logo the right way.

When it comes to the pump mount, why not put it in your dvdrom bays? (hope you understood me there) i guess it can be hard to fill, but thats my best idea =\

yes i can turn them (i already did it for the top rad)

And no, I don't want the rez/pump in the 5.25 bay, i don't like it

Hm, that would probably put a lot of weight on the drive cage considering you chopped its poor feet off.

i have enough place for 1 rez/pump next to the 24pin ATX. I can put little under the video card level, but i will probably need a 90° barb

I am thinking about placing the pump and rez separately. But I don't like those bracket too much.

I will do some testing this weekend.

Now what about those 2 fan on the bottom rad. Should i keep them this way up ? pumping air down ?

I guess that the best performance is with fans pushing air to the rad from the bottom of the case (rad placed on fans). Since you want the fans that way, i think it's better to pull air from the rad, not pump air down.
