    If PcCI2iminal's chip is synonymous of the coming C3 retail products, they won't need a higher maximum overclock to shine. The improvements he has shown will give the typical overclocker better results because C3's will require less voltage and consequently less cooling to achieve a good stable 4GHz+ system. Think of it as the voltage/temperature curve being pushed further towards the cliff at the end. The cliff of maximum benching clock under LN2 and LHe may be the same, but there's more headroom back in the smooth part of the slope where most users will operate: above average air cooling and intermediate water cooling.

    translation:

    performance per watt is better on C3 by a noticeable margin. (good news to people who pay their own electric bill and like power friendly parts)
