Sadly I can't test if its killed my other things yet as I don't have a PSU powerful enough.

I may end up selling the case and getting a Corsair to save some funds, what do you think?
That PSU is full modular no ? Can't you just send it back without the sleeving job ? Or try to find a new one (i know you had trouble getting this one) and RMA the bad one with the new cable then re-sell once fixed (hoping you did not mess up something in the wiring while sleeving)

I'll see what the place says tomorrow about the returning with no cables

Also, Nils, I think you may have missed a few posts on the last page, my PSU died so no more photos

Depending on the company, if you tell them that you custom sleeved the PSU they will probably try to pull some BS saying you wired it wrong and doing that fried the PSU so its not covered lol.

Really sorry mate to hear about your setbacks.

Are there any "arc" marks from the spark you heard, you know blackened, sooty, shiny copper marks you can see.

Are there any in-built fusses on the motherboard or trip switches, reset buttons on the PSU or motherboard that may be stopping it from powering up?

Hope your work it out, “cheaply”

I can just look at photos. Reading is too time consuming - you know me James A computer that runs is just a machine, a computer that looks good but doesn't run is more interesting and harder to replace

Don't be, mine wasn't from the cables, it was something else, my computer was fine for a few days....

Yeah, sadly I have to give the cables back, not to worry, I just bought a ST1000, when it gets here, I'll send those cables back with the PSU and use my sleeved ones on the 1000watt
