Couldn't you just have them lined up diagonal instead of horizontal? that would give you a couple more mm to squeeze them in a 5.25. Hey it works in my head, not so sure about anyone else'

Still a mod You had to move the HD.

(I know, I'm digging. Alot of cases that would be a mod though)

If it makes you feel better I lied.....It was 3 thumbscrews. I think the rule was that anything over 2 thumbscrews is a mod. Nah it's true though. Generally people who do want to use 2 of these pumps plan ahead and measure. Actually I will take that back. 5% measure and plan ahead!

okey.... i never owned a detriot so i guess im wrong.

Meh... still think the D5 is ugly compared to a DDC.

    its not my build.
It belongs to a member named Masaville.

The last time i touched D5's was back here:

    DFI NF4 BABY!!!

And yes i was running dual... after that i never touched a D5.
And b4 u make fun of that picture... Vinyl Fittings FTW!!! <joking>

Im serious guys, if u dont mind the tad bit higher pitched noise a DDC makes...
You want a DDC and not a D5...

    I have over 10 DDC's (Haruhi itself uses 5), ranging from DDC-2 -> DDC-3.25 <for my next build>
    I had 4 D5's ... gave gillbot 2, and lent 2 to skinnee..

    I will buy more DDC's
You will have to shoot me b4 i buy another D5.

    dont doubt it...

if i still used the D5's i most definitely would of grab'd one.

    This was my delima... i have a set footprint in which i can fit 2 DDC's or 1 D5 or 1 RD-30...

Sorry the D5 lost to the RD-30.. and the RD-30 lost to my Dual DDC-2.

    So... the RD-30 = My D5.

However that man pump loses to this guy:

    ^ my dual inlet DDC-2 x 2

Why the hell doesn't he make them anymore? If I would have known that I would have bought extras just in case I screw up the threading in one or something dumb like that.

@NaeKuh... I have to agree they are beasts of burden but that's why I used them for that industrial look. Maybe I will get 3 of these triple tops and get 9 DDC pumps and stick them all in one loop! How bout dem app'O's!

Check E-bay, no listing. There hasn't been one for a while either.

Yeah did not want a RD-30. I like the fact of using 2 pumps for redundancy in case one goes south. My next build will have DDC's however.

Yeah probably. My D5's are going full pin 24/7. Your RD-30 is probably in the bottom of a box somewhere...

Hmmmmm, now you got me thinking here. The DetroitAC tops I have are performance tops. Pretty much the best you can give a D5. I don't know if you can replicate that into a block for 2 D5's. Would be cool if you can talk to DetroitAC and see if you can get the design he used to make his blocks and make that into one block for 2 pumps. I would go for that in a heartbeat.

Yeah probably. It will be tough to design this though. Would be cool to have one top for both though in Plexi. Especially if it is the screw on way so I can use my BP chrome accessories. Would add some serious bling if it had LED holes too.
