I don't think there are any network drivers on the CD, just the chipset drivers. And why not just download those from the website?

I've just been playing around with the preset Level-Up features since I got the board, but I want to start with XMP now.

How do you go about with BCLK? I've toyed around with it a little, but is it like the old front bus, where you have to go slowly forward, or do you just set it to the desired value and hope it boots?

I´m using Win 7, and Network drivers work ok. Even that, if you don´t install them Windows already recognizes.

What are the main differences from 1504 that you noted?

The board chooses a different value each time you boot even though nothing else has been changed.

To clarify, the RTL's were changing every time I rebooted, when I have not changed ram speed, BCLK, timmings or anything else. Just rebooted at the exact same settings and the RTL's were different every time.

This is very bad BIOS work, we should be able to set fixed values for each RTL eg: 59/60/61 and have them not change.
It seems a kind of temperature compensation.

Did you try when the PC is cold, after 6-8 hours OFF, typically during the night, and when the PC is very hot, after some hours of stability tests?

It makes no difference when the board is rebooted. When I noted in the previous post how the RTL's were changing between boots, I was siting in front of the pc rebooting, checking in bios where the actual values are displayed in the ram settings screen, rebooting etc, and they were just changing each time on their own.

Can anyone else verify this is happening on their board too?

Asus should change the way RTL's are set in the next BIOS, so we can choose a fixed value and have it stay that way like on other boards.

0077 has the opposite effect for me:

    No more coldboot

On the downside though my 4.2 overclock is no longer stable at 1504 voltages....

    Time for some more tuning

Perhaps because the memory cannot handle it? LOL.
    Or your CPU's IMC.
You need cold on both CPU and RAM to go as far as 2400.

    Need Recomendation (Sound Card)

    Hi all,
I have been using the included X-Fi riser card that comes with the RE-II. Now that I have loaded the comercial version of Win 7 I am actually going to put this rig to work. I want to upgrade the sound card. In the opinion of this august group what is the best sound card for this Mobo considering in the following order:
    1. Quality of sound
    2. Being able to fit
    3. Compatability with the RE-II and Win 7
I am looking for the best, not the cheapest.

I am looking at the ASUS Xonar series, anyone have any experience with them?
