We are benching the blades on a classie to this afternoon, hoping we can get them speeds too...

EDIT : We got them up to 1137Mhz with 1.7Vdimm on the classified :p (in fact I just watched to see that Massman didn't overvolt them lol)

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Nice results 3oh6!!! Hopefully my RMAed ones will put like yours. Mine are black and 1 stick crapped its pants after 24 hours of use. Really a lil over a hour or two of use as I didn't get much time to play with them. Ran them at stock specs. There are too many horror stories of Elpida Hypers dieing left and right.

Back to Back CAS delay (aka the performance killer ) Massman is working on my collected data to get a small review out of what it does and how it influences ram bandwith

At the moment we only find it in the Asus bios and MSI is adding it too on their lineup... The Asus setting is too tight, resulting in stability issues when running eg 200Bclock/2000mhz ram in triple channel config.

for some AM3 fun. they seem to clock 8-9-8 as well as their big brother and don't mind the 1200MHz area at all

i don't quote in my signature, but best WR ever...

    you shouldn't presume anything

E-LEET is pretty much bang on for vDIMM on my board. i am not sure if they needed that much. my PC3-17000's will run this with 1.70v so these being a little weaker at 7-8-7/7-7-6/6-7-6 in 32M, i figured set 1.75v and forget about it.

Bollocks.. mine have black pcb's too & they are running @ 1000MHz 7-8-7-21 T1 with 1.63V since March..

So either they're faulty, or you need to give them a little more vQPI/vVTT. Mine need 1.45V on both Rampage II Extreme & EVGA Classified 760, regardless what CPU..

Edit: Just swap them. You got lifelong warranty.

I just received a brand new set from amazon, but due to their incompetent shipping dept. all three modules were thrown out of their packaging. One pcb was bent. Tested the other two and they booted at 7-8-7-20 1T on a classified, 920 DO at 3 gigs. When I oc to 4200 my system would not even boot no matter what settings I had. It refused to boot at 7-8-7-20 1T. No problems with my mushkin redlines, so much for OCZ I think the new hypers if they are hypers are not worth the time or money
