Instead of having the motherboard tray sit flush with the bottom panel (which is essentially the midplate once the pedestal is attached), I rotated the back panel so that tray sits almost flush with the top panel.
This 1/8" thick wall bar will provide support for the tray, be the cpu's res mount, and hide the wires that feed the power to the components within the pedestal:
I hope to have some more drilling done on the bottom panel. I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I am able. It's awfully late and I'm beginning to see in double vision beginning to see in double vision.
