OK so they don't run at the best timings for AMD but I thought i'd set the record straight that these tridents have quite a bit of potential.....

Rated 1.65, set 1.70 to offset droop, measured real 1.68....90ns still

I think there is still more in them but i'm rather tired.

    Tommorows another day....

    The more the merrier right?

    True 120 clearance

    Xigamatek 1284 Clearance

I did not abuse these namely due to the fact they are going into a 24/7 rig however I can honestly say this particular set will acchieve rated specs and be hassle free and set and forget on AMD providing the IMC on your cpu is up to par.

Tossed some prime at it quick at tighter than specs ( TRFC @ 90ns and 1T CR )

    Threw some PI at it.

Then I cranked the NB and core to stress the ram more....

Easy Mode Bios settings.....Etc I did preety much no tuning.....voltage was set to spec 1.65v

This is a nice kit, G.Skill seems to have a winner here!

Is this kit specially tuned for AMDs? I assume it is... Should be the best kit for 24/7 users!

Do you know which chips are used?
    Price and availability?

Seems it says designed for intel LGA1156 core i5 and i7 cpu's.

It however has no problem pulling rated on amd as you can see.

Looks like $89 usd and newegg has em.

Chip's not off hand did not pull spreaders. Didn't feel like chancing it. I only void warranty on hardware I intend to abuse.

I should note I did not purchase these.

They were actually sent from gskill for winning first place in the gigabyte CPU OC % contest.

Thus the not so detailed review.

A buddy of mine is going to use them so I didn't want to beat them up on him
