Best ram for AMD platform

Beats me what IC's does corsair list on there site for that Kit.

My set was about $400 total for a 6 gig kit one stick was sorta DOA.

I may have a 1600 6-6-6 2x2 gig AMD kit on the way for a review but I wouldn't hold your breath as it appears they are short on stock however very curious how they fare.

i don't know what ICs these modules have and i don't want to remove the heatspreaders. i tried to ask on their forum but i got no reply. anyways, $400 seems a bit unreasonable for me right now but i'll be looking forward to your tests with that amd kit you are mentioning. thanks

There should be a place on the forum that breaks down all the models and revisions and tells you what ICS are used. No need to void your warranty, not to mention they are glued....death imminent if you attempt to remove.
