it certainly is!
Look at the accuracy of it:
Was shooting for 3.75". I got it to within 1/1000th of an inch

I'm in dire need of this block. Since I made the switch to H2O my Vreg temps shot up 15 degrees at idle.

The block is going well. I am trying out new milling bits, and tapping methods. I would like to get a working prototype build by the end of this weekend. There isn't enough hours in the day to get all the things that i need to do!![]()
are you making these using only non-CNC?? I can't imagine you being able to charge for more than materials + 25 cents/hr for your labor... how are you going to do these en mass?

yup, no CNC machine here. no plans for en-mass, and only made to order. Once I get the feel for them, making them goes much faster.
A thousandth of an inch is pretty damn accurate!

Thank you. I got some aluminum to practice with as well.
Here is the Alum version I just banged out. Will work on it more tomorrow.

and the side by side

OH NO! Aluminum.

This thread makes me wish I had this board JUST so I could get this amazing block-to-be...
Incredible work sir.

If your annoyed by sigs telling you to put things in your sig, then put this in your sig
Bribery won't work on me...just say NO to AT!!!
aluminum + copper + current = corrosion.

and I don't mean mixing metals on the block, it will be either entirely Alu, or Copper. I am referring to mixing a Copper CPU block, with an Aluminum chipset block?
here we go again...
