    wtf! What motherboard is that? I want to make sure one of those never comes near my case. jk , What happened that the board flamed out like that. Just too much juice ( doesn't sound like it) or was there an underlying problem?

    i knew four pins were fire hazards, but thought that it happened only at >1.55v. i wasnt even doing prime95, only wprime 1024. i had an ECS 785G that had the eight-pin input, but didn't have a working manual overclocking BIOS.

    Epic failure to take out three components in a flame out. Strange though, I just built my next door neighbor a matx rig with that board and x4 945. I didn't push the clocks as high as you [3.6/1.35(cpu) 2.4/1.225(cpu-nb)] but I had no problems at all with it going through 2.5 hours of blend and 20 passes of IBT. Hope your rma's go well.
