Join the club guys, one of my cores is also stuck at 42C (no matter what it goes no lower than that)! I have thought about RMA'ing it many times but like greg.m mentioned I'm worried I'd get some POS replacement chip (and it would mostly like have a stuck temp sensor anyway), lol! A-Grey did you RMA your first chip through Intel or through the retailer you bought the chip from? I have no experience with Intel or their warranty service but I imagine its quite slow?
