Looks like a black HD2900XT.

With the difference that it will perform good and it's not late to the party this time

But it could be close as far as power consumption goes... I guess we will see with reviews, but 330mm² on 40nm, 2.1B transistors, that's going to consume a sh*t load of power!

TSMC 40nm is not that bad, power consumption-wise.
HD4770 (40nm) was running at silly low power - I wouldn't be surprised if HD5870 was similar to HD4890 in power consumption.
