I'm not a "Batch expert" lol, but you can check your VID using CoreTemp:
-If your VID is lower than 1.2000v (lowest in this thread is 1.1375) then you're having a golden batch CPU![]()

-If your VID is around 1.2500v, you're having aCPU.
Keep in mind that a high VID CPU doesn't always OC badly, some with high VID can OC very well (my old E6600 with 1.325 VID can make 3.6Ghz with stockfan), but this case is rare.
/My Q9550 L848C310 1.2125VID is now running at 450*8.5=3825Mhz 24/7 completely stable with 1.2250v in BIOS (1.2000v in CPU-Z).
