Be it over rated or not. It's still something I would have over not having. Then again maybe I'm too worried about degrading my drive.

Don't feel bad man, just gotto realize that the price on newegg reflect how many they have left in stock. Due to such high demand for this SSD, I wouldn't be surprise but still very disappointed since I've been waiting just for this to complete my new build. You might consider talking to newegg rep since I did and they give me $25 off if I order it.

They gave me the discount since they said I'm a value customer which is obvious since I bought a bunch of stuff from them. And don't bother to ask them about the availability of any item since they will just tell you to look at the ETA. This SSD sells like hot cake and sold out really fast, I was only 2 clicks away to submit my order and it's gone.

It seems that increases in price of G2 pushed prices of Summit and Vertex from OCZ higher too. I've been following both 120gb models and they went up by $60 (Summit) and $50 (Vertex).

Well, so did u ask them to give you the discount or they just offer it to u, I been spending on newegg for like over 4k value of stuff, I think I should be able to get some discount for these price growning drives.

AFAIK the only drives to current support TRIM is Vertex.

HOLY ! http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16820167016 That is ridiculous, $522 CAD for one, it was 279 yesterday and that was high. Isn't this illegal on some level? I hope no one is buying these at this price.... Anyone know when NCIX will be replenishing their stocks? I have one on preorder for 279.

    EDIT: That's $3 more than the gen1 160gb!

hopefilly its just a pricing error, but... agreed, HOLY

Core 2 Duo(Conroe) was based on the Intel Core Duo(Yonah) which was based on the Pentium M(Banias) which was based on the Pentium III(Coppermine).

Core 2 Duo is a Pentium III on meth.

Doubt its an error, the 160gb is priced over $1k. They really are milking this low supply situation aren't they?
