Huge congrats again to team Sweden to their stellar performance! Outstanding work there!

It has been a very exciting competition and was great to meet all the competitiors. MSI put a lot of effort into this event and the level of talent here in Beijing was outstanding!

Gautam and I were pushing as hard as we could and were able to quickly put up competitive scores in Wprime. Our plan was to actually improve our score in wprime towards the very end of the competition, but due to a sudden change in the schedule / rules we were not able to fully unlock the potential of our Core I7-975...too bad we were holding back a bit there, when it was intitally announced that we can put up scores thru-out the entire competition...oh well...

In Vantage unfortunately we couldn't keep up with the top scoring teams due to lack of us having / figuring out the v-mem mod to the MSI GTX-275 Lightening. I wish we could have had some quality time with this GPU prior to the competition , in order for us to prepare a bit better in this aspect. But I believe MSI had a shortage of these cards before their official release and therefore only a few teams were able to test them before the contest. But we certainly enjoyed the core clocks that these cards can produce. Very impressive how easily there cards can reach 1100mhz on the core and more under LN2.

All in all it was a very interesting experience and has been a great trip so far. The show and entertainement that MSI put up during the competition was outstanding, thanks a bunch to MSI and all the other sponsors for having us there!

Grats to the winners, our first mobo killed two processors. I am very familiar with the board and went for my known good settings of .3v on the CPU and 160 bclk and scale up from there with cas 8 at 2ghz memory. What we didn't know is this new board scales up vcore with multiple so when we rebooted the vcore randomly shot up beyond 1.7v and catastophic failure to the mobo. Due to the battle rules with two of the same dead part you are dq'd so we neve seen 1 second of competition. They gave us some hadware to play with so we could stay busy, we did manage one run of wprime that never got posted to the board, the result was handed in on the hd and stoolman said it was accepted but never done. No biggie but with that result we were not in last place officially but we did not press to get the result listed.

On my gtx 275 I was benching vantage with 1250mhz CPU, I will upload the ss when I get back home, the lightening is a killer VGA card

wow 1100 on the core...the 285's should do that too right if it had the proper electronics.. right?

Yes, MSI did a great job improving upon the reference design and the lightening series with it's super strong power regulation, can clock insanely.
We were able to hit 1152mhz on the gpu core. The highest core clocks attained during the competition by one team was 1200mhz on the core.

The memory clocks on the cards also were impressive, we managed to hit 1250mhz there without upping the v-mem; and team Sweden with the memory mod for example managed to hit a whopping 1400mhz for some crazy bandwidth!!!

Big props from my end to what MSI did on the GPUs! I can't wait to get my hands on the 285 lightening and see what this monster can do!

I think this will team Singapore, nice job
we have some problems whith board and GPU voltage, after competiton i ask to skilled teams and i have problems whith temperature. 900MHz on GPU was been realy small frequency :-(, but we are been first time ane we just collecting info abouth OC. So for us is 14 place verry nice result
Onesmore big congratz to all teams and bigger congrats to winning teams. Good work boys

Hi EveryOne.. I'm LittleBoy in Korea Team.
I came back home early in the morinng with OC_Windforce. Because it's my Job. ㅜ.ㅜ

First of All, Congrats Sweden Team...

In Competition Day, We Start Wprime 8Th. in this time, mobo is very Fine..
So, Vantage Time Mobo is very unstable. the Symtom : mobo operate only default Clock. and I set a Vcore +0.250 but, real Vcore is 1.40v.
We don't raise 1 clock over default clock. So, I run vga overclock in cpu Default Clock!. That's too bad. ㅠ.ㅠ

I hope that good result in Next Competiion!

    What a blast!!

Congrats to elmor and ME4ME for a complete home run of a victory.

And HUGE props to MSI for treating us all like royalty, and to stoolman for having to take so much moaning.

    Congratulations to Sweden
we have a big problem with the first motherboard and they (MSI) change our first motherboard after more than 1:20 hour.
unfortunately we got another motherboard, but it was not working well, freezing until the bios in stock (i show to fugger...lol).
Even so we decided to run the tests.
I know we could make it get much better results, but it was not our lucky day too.
    Does not matter.
I am very happy to participate this wonderful event and very well organized.
    hugs to all participants.
Been an honor to be competing with you guys.

p.s. the best of the party...very nice reception from MSI
    everything very very good
    unbelievable

    Sorry the broken english

    a win well deserved

thanks to MSI for a great event. Perfect job guys

Unfortunately we were not competitive in the second round due to a bad choice of a GPU mod with OVP limited 1.3v core and too much time wasted trying to make something work. I think we'll get cards to prepare better for next comp so that we dont have to experiment during one hehe

I really enjoyed the event apart from killing two boards and two processors before the event even started. It was great seeing everybody again and having a chance to watch everyone benchmark hardware. Now it's time to travel home and the USA teams have no tickets We were told our flight schedule had been changed to go straight to USA from Beijing but there was a miscommunication and now we missed our original flights to Taipei and have only 2 hours to get tickets for the better flight to San Francisco. Hope we don't get stuck in China till MOA2010

We team was very despair. Windows entry was possible in CPU defualt clock.

It is result testing in the Korea before MOA participation.

    Only GPU Test (PhyX on)
    Vgpu MOD + After buner = 1.4V

    Vgpu MOD ( 2D = 1.2V OVP , 3D = 1.45V OVP)
    Stable voltage = 1.4V

    Trimmer Pin2 GND

    Vmem

    Trimmer Pin2 GND
