@stevensl2 "I have done as you said and everything works so far, however I don't run my system 24/7 and plus I have very good cooling."
by 24/7 i mean daily use. it's verry important to find a fully stable cpu overclock before you go and try the ram out.
to get 1600mhz ram just set blck 200. turn of turbo mode and
enable set current limit max. Also set de ram divider @8x and your uncore divider @16x.
AND set your cpu multier to 19x (forgot about that one)
your cpu is clocked @3800mhz this way and your ram is @1600mhz
you can set your ram timings @ 8-8-8-24 and 1.665V
set your VVT to 1.24 (should be enough maybe a little higher but not to much)
The good way of finding the vcore is:
set your Dram diver @ 6x and the uncore @12x so the memory wouldn't be a problem
use occt and set custom time @ 3 houres (should be enough for finding vcore)
if you found your Vcore set the Dram divider back @8x and the uncore divider @16x
When you've done this.
Run OCCT for aprox. 5 houres and hope you won't get any errors. If you do, maybe your Vcore is still a bit to low OR your VVT voltage needs to be a bit higher (max 1.32v should be enough) but i think 1.24v on the VVT should be enough to run 1600mhz. So when you get any errors first raise your vcore a bit.
good luck.
still i think you SHOULD read the threads here on XS or i4memory. Learning the settings yourself is better. Just take a day or 2 to read through guides and forums.
