Well DONE. Getting close to 5Ghz
    I wish i had a lower VID (Maybe 1.2) . My Chip has a 1,3V VID !!!
Then i could trade some heat for a little less Voltage.

I need 1.45V(in bios) Vcore and 1.38V VTT Just to run 4.25Ghz Stable!!!! But my Max temps are 50 when loading with prime

How much Vcore do you think these Q9650 can handle on Water?

but you can play further giving volts mate also i see you got an awesome PSU wish i had that you can have real fun with it...i have a low vid and im sharing the loop with the GTX285, higher vid quads require more volts but it's up to everyone if you decide to play with it, on the giga i pumped lots of volts and then my PSU starts shutting down i will swap for a corsair soon.

    i benched it till 1,56vcore real / 1,75pll / 1,66vtt and 1,76 MCH and the 2x2 gskills till 2,4

    Cheers

I was using my 24/7 setup as an example. I am 3d stable @ 4.6Ghz but that is with 1.57V (In Windows) but i am unsure of how much more it can take.

How do you now how much VTT to give your cpu? I find if i give it more then a certain percentage of the vcore it stops letting me boot. Is there some sort of stage where it starts to help? Ie: for me at 1.4VTT it is unhappy but maybe above 1.55V it will start helping?

    Thanks for your response.

About the PSU. It helped my MAX OC on GPU by 65 MHZ on the core which i was glad about.

damn 1,57 is what i used for 4900 its amazing how different temps are on this chips being a lower vid to a higher

vtt it all depends mate, in my case till 4500 i dont need more than 1,36, but up to there it starts needing it, all depends. You should start to test slowly from a stable setting and then up till you get the most of it stable, then the rest will be bench or just screens.

    Cheers mate and good luck
