7.1 audio - most video cards don't support it. None from nV, eg.
xvYCC - basically nothing supports it. Including Bluray.
DRM - already on the media, nothing can prevent it from coming to devices.
DP & old device incompatibility - adapters do exist.
consumer rights and choice - there's always a way.
