For 12GB ram clocking, there is no board like the Classified.

Otherwise, i'd take a decent look @ Asus Workstation boards. They're about the only thing i'd touch with 12GB of ram that has Asus written on it...

If that board revision fixes all issues with d0's and offers compatiblity with the newer models coming later on, I might kill my board just to get one XD

this board has rev.aB01 so maybe i'm lucky.

board has rev.aB01 = Rev aB01? Never saw a 4 digit code for DFI revision code.
Back and forth from board to board it seems.

Ok. After a long session of tests i could see that with 6 gb it's stable @ 2.8ghz, but if i increase the cpu frequency it's not anymore. No problems with 4gb. Going to RMA, i have to kill it before

Anyone have any suggestions for 4.0? Turbo, no turbo? 19x or 20x? I'm at 3.6 HT ON, 1.15-1.16v under load, 1.3vtt. I still havent had much time to work on 4.0. Any suggestions would be helpful.

You should try with turbo:off first. Otherwise, usually you shouldn't need more tweaks for @4GHZ, just add more Vcore and give a shot.

Does the 20x multiplier still cause random issues? 20x200 should be the easiest 4.0 correct?

I had issues at 19x211, and 20x200 where games would be in slow motion even when running 4ghz according to RealTemp and CPU-Z. Right when I put it back to 21x191 it was back up to speed.

Now just gotta wait for DFI to "Repair" my board so I can blow something else up. Gunna try for 4.6ghz HT!!!

I got this annoying small things...

first, when OC or changing volts or anything, and it fails...during bootup or whatever, when i kill it (turn off with holding in powerbutton) and then right after, resetting cmos with dubble pressing reset and power, then letting go and then powering up again, it ALLWAYS, code 26, and i mean every single time, it doesnt boot up, everyting is started but just a blank screen, then i press reset, and it goes down, and up again with no trouble.

This is every time i do this...

and another thing, when in bios, after a fail OC or something, i load the saved bank i had before, and then i will apply this and exit, it just gets stuck, then i have to reset, and it goes down and are working again, what is this?
this is so annoying i almost want to change board =)

Try the latest Official bios or the latest beta. I had similar issues but the new bios'es fixed it. And if it already is one of those Bioses just try to reflash it. Sometimes it gets buggered up...

    @RGONE sorry i ment rev. aB(0)1. the 0 is crossed and they wrote a 1 next to it :S ( i've had rev.A58, 2x A56 and now the AB(0)1 )

i think DFI made a good board if it works. But when i search the net i come across lots of ppl who have (compatibility) problems.
I hope that DFI will find some solution for the problems.

I got Win 7, so the latest beta is all i got, or else multiple will drop and get stuck.... so i HAVE to use this bios nomather if i want it or not
I Like playing with bios'es, change and try stuff, but all us win 7 users are restricted to one version only.

Will try to reflash....but 26 is a major code regarding lots of stuff, so there's no telling what it could be either.

For anyone who has RMA'ed, did you get a new board or did they just repair your old board? Kinda want a new board because when mine worked it squealed soooo bad all the time.

But they said send it for repairs......

You spend $300 on a board and one thats $170 is better and then it dies for no reason, kinda upsetting don't you think? And if it bothers you so much why read it?

Hey guys I just got this motherboard, and the bios is CONFUSING AS F***, I can't seem to do anything right... My rams are running at 1066mhz when it should be at like 2000mhz.
I don't get it, why can't this mobo be like the other ones where you just set it.. Please help !

I want my rams to run at 2000mhz, my timings i got. I don't know what 80% of the words mean in the bios where on the other mobo's they are easy. My head hurts.

In the BIOS, Genie BIOS Settings - DRAM Frequency. Can't get much more self-explanatory. This board has quite a few faults but the common settings being complicated is not one of them.
