My R2e has been acting crazy last few days. And to boot it reverted back to a older bios during a overclock. As i had 1504 in it after a day of messing with settings and windows not booting i seen 1306. And i was like wth, but i flashed it back. But this board has some random boot issues like none i have ever seen. One minute the setting will not work the next it boot up fine. One minute it will boot up @ 4.5 next time it will not boot at 4.3. Perhaps i'm having a super bad day.

But i'm thinking about a new board at this point.

Don't forget that one of the features of this board is that it has 2 BIOS chips installed. When you are on BIOS 1 and flash it to a newer version, BIOS 2 is not automatically updated. You have to manually update BIOS 2 as well. What you are experiencing is the the BIOS switches to the second chip if you use settings that prevent it from booting. The best thing to do is set up BIOS 2 with safe settings that you know are good so if your settings for BIOS 1 don't work, you can still boot from the other BIOS.
If I'm a danger to myself just think what I could do to you.

Yes i know i only use one bios as i keep it on bios 1 because if i have issues i can switch to bios 2 and move it back to bios 1.

Like i was saying i did nothing but overclock and it reverted back to the older bios. 1504 bios is also slow acting also. Pauses a pretty good bit.

Mine went a bit like that last update before 1504 and i flipped the battery out for a spell with the power cable disconnected and it was fine afterwards.

Maybe you already tried that, but if not might be worth a shot.
