Right now thats nothing more then a pipe dream... as already mentioned by some.
It has been demo'd in real time over two monitors showing the split object rendering .....so pipe dream my

Hmm... if it's just a PCIe switch, nothing more, why did MSI decide to name their board "Big Bang"?

The will support Larrabee when it's out, some time in 2015.

Actually, I think Intel is banking on Larrabee to be a success on the grounds that AMD and Nvidia will have gone bankrupt long before it is released thus ensuring it's market dominance.

Is there any review or demo showing the use of this device with current hardware? No, not a tech demo but a performance demo.

it is the thing we should only be looking at near 100% scaling in multi gpu,, we shouldnt be looking at potentially mixing gpu's it may or may not happen ( i doubt it now as nvidia blocked it out there physx etc) but mayeb ati + intel etc.. we shall see....

but the thing is the new algathorim it uses to work out how to multi render and with that I hope it comes out trumps

AMD and Nvidia should welcome this with open arms.

Less driver issues, and better performance for the people?

Maybe I could use my GTX285 and 4870 together, or if the driver thing restricts it, my 8800GT.

Only tantalum caps. Nice . Got tired of that polymer elcaps, which love to become shorts with overstress.. And burning FETs

they should I agree, I do believe Nvidia is shooting itself in the foot with the way they are about this multi gpu/sharing business it makes them look bad, although I think we can see where they come from, cos' if potential customers want a nvidia card (or 2) then nvidia get both sales,

I dont think they realise that the customer could get a 4870 now then a 5870 in a few months and use that instead :/ and this is why i think nvidia have shot thereselves down

Yes. This "Big Bang" should come on the second or third "wave" of LGA1156 motherboards.
