Performance is probably about as good as 2200MHz CL8. Still a killer frequency though.

    Great result.
What I don't like about P55 is that one has to stick to 4Gb of RAM to clock it decently (4 slot OCing is a pain), which doesn't seem much at all...
    What RAM stick was used?

Seems like s1156 will bring a lot of fun, maybe better performance when OCed than Core i7?

Pffff, it's not even DDR3-3000, try harder.

It's not weird why Hicookie always gets early access to play with Gigabyte goodness.

Yeah our Gigabyte rep was in the other day and had nothing but praise for Hicookie and all the work he's done to help them tune their BIOS releases.

    Thanks for pushing the envelope!

I know but it's not like every Gigabyte or other manufacturer's rep posess the knowledge of tweaking and overclocking like him.

My point was, let Hicookie test board before launch, leak some stunning results to popular forums -> cheap valuable PR for the manufacturer. A lot better than putting up some random sometimes annoying flashy ads to hardware sites.

Hicookie and Shamino are 2 excellent examples of how one worker can be of extraordinary value to a company. Hopefully in the future more talented people with hardware knowledge will be hired by manufacturers, they need them.

This was one of the few times I had that feeling the world spinned around my head, you know.... Like when Hipro posts a thread

This is insane. It is impressive to see DDR2 1800 and DDR3 2900+ records on GB. This is a real testament
Sometimes a good slap in the face is all you need

    Bios my arss.....
I can fix this problem with a hardware mod....
