For stability test, I prefer Prime on blend test.

That was bad news, BBSE Tridents can reach 1.9Ghz CL7 easily.

But I cannot boot this ram @ 2000 even with default timings on my board..
To run @ 2Ghz with that Tridents maybe you would need more QPI voltage. Set your memory at that speed it's harder when you system is overclocked, the increase of BCLCK makes the uncore (and the IMC) run at higher clocks.

Try tu use high multiplier for you CPU, set your memory at 9-9-9-24, and give the VTT more voltage.

What is a safe limit on the QPI Voltage ?

Right now I am running 9-9-9-24 (XMP Profile) but @ 900 Mhz instead of 1000. I have been running prime for approx 12 hours CPU @ 3.7 Ram @ 900 and no errors. CPU is set at 1.25Vcore (CPU-z Shows 1.18) ram is still at 1.65v and QPI was at 1.45 but I lowered it to 1.3. I ran memtest on the ram last night to ensure there were no errors and it can back clean.

I am starting to suspect that my motherboard may be the issue. Is the Gigabyte UD5 a good board to use? I don't want to spend all that much money and its really the only somewhat afford one of the group.

    Edit:

I got them to post at 1000Mhz but I had to up QPI to 1.5 nothing below that would post.. What does that indicate?

Here is what mine look like from the side. I can't tell which ones I have but I doubt its the BBSE unless my MOBO hates tight timings..
