Rename old BIOS file to "AMIBOOT.ROM" and put it on a pendrive. Insert pendrive into USB port and turn on computer.
Now you need to wait 40-50 seconds before BIOS recover starts.
If nothing will happen, you need to send your board to RMA.

zorz, I noticed that bios come from Rebelshaven and then I saw Afudos4.23.

then I thought about latest bios which I updated with Biostar's flash. So I wonder if it is same or I should use Afudos because newest modified bios file seem contain another file name than usual one from biostar.

    enjoy and report my friend

    Hi PcCI2iminal! Finally the wait-for-moderator-period has passed~
I have TA790GXE_128M and tried the corresponding R1 BIOS. It cannot be used to unlock the hidden cores of my 550BE. So I have to fall back to the 0617 hacked BIOS I found in China bboard. That BIOS does really able to unlock hidden core but it has few limitations also:

    1) HT Link must be 1.6G
    2) Seems some of the multiplier cannot be used
    3) Cannot disable on-board display card to take system RAM. I can only set it to the minimal 32M.
    4) Seems its PAE has issue. I have 32bit WinXP so I allocated those un-recognized RAM to be a RAMDisk. But when there is a lot of RAMDisk R/W, the on-board display may have error.
(e.g., I use winrar to compress a file on ramdisk, which should be CPU intensive task only. but GPU/VPU error as follow
    http://bbs.ocer.net/viewthread.php?tid=301206 )

New bios for this board was just out. What a shame it still doesn't support unlock core
    http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us...s.php?S_ID=408

Can you help on this? Thanks man!
