Thanks aussie-revhead, now I know the Classified has handled four GFX cards successfully under extreme conditions.

Now I have to find someone that has successfully tied four Nvidia GFX cards together in quad-SLI (if it is in fact possible using the current drivers) before I buy the Classified and another Evga GTX 260.

    Hello,

I have found a nice 24/7 oc here but wonder why a few of you drop the PLL Vcore voltage below 1.8V. What does it effect? I plan to find a "gaming" oc as well and want to reach 4.0-4,2GHz with as low Vcore as possible due to my temps.

I found that dropping CPU and IOH PLL values allowed for more stability and slightly better OC headroom, possibly even with very slightly lower voltages. I run mine as low as 1.425V for day to day.

I have the corsair 1000HX and it runs my Classified perfectly.

While the Enermax units I know have some compability issues I head some of the new revisions of the enermax units fixs that issue with the boot up.

If you haven't already head over to the eVag forums since they have threa dedicated to PU compability.

The CF w/NF200 (Version 759) had some problems with specific psus as the Enermax Revolution 85+, some Tagan, the Thermaltake Toughpower Line and some Coolermaster psus.

The 760-Version has all these Problems fixed and it's up to you what psu you'd like to buy.

I had to swap psus with a friend back then, as my CF 759 would not start up w/my Enermax Revo85+ 1250W. I got a HX1000W instead of it from him.

Reading the eVGA Forum, a lot of people still have problems with PSUs, even with the 760 model

Just spent some time reading the eVGA forums, and even with the new revision from Enermax its still hit and run. Works for some, doesn't work for others

And thats the PSU i have, Enermax Galaxy Evo 1250W

ok guys, needing your help here!
Just finished putting everything together (Classified 760,i7 920 DO,6GB Crucial Tracers PC3-12800 8-8-8-24, PSU Ultra 1600W). Now, I cant run with all three sticks installed and wont boot at all (error 26), no even to bios! That damn error 26 is reserved, but after doing some research it appears to be memory related. My sticks are all fine and tested and it doesn't matter which ones I install, they all work as long as I use slots #2 & #4. Once I install #6, no post!!!
I had a look around the net and cant seem to find any answers, or maybe I've just missed something. Is it something with the actual slot on these boards or maybe a setting in bios??? BTW I'm using the latest bios S610.

Have you set the DRAM Voltage to 1.65v? Had a similar issue with a set of G-SKILL.

haven't changed any settings as yet! bios reports ram @ 1.5 .
What was your G-Skill set at?

The board auto set it to 1.5v and it would not post properly if at all, I had to remove two sticks and set it at 1.65v then reinstall the other two sticks.

ok I realize that, but why post and run with two sticks (prime stable & memtest) and only have issues when I try the third slot?
will try you suggestion though and see if it works

    Hi all,

Just wanted to chime in as a happy new Classified (E761) owner. I built my rig over the weekend and did a trial, shot-in-the-dark OC run @ 4.2ghz just to see if it could make it there w/o issue and to get a sense of how capable the chip and board are. It was the most effortless 4ghz+ OC I've ever done. It was five minutes in the BIOS to set a 200Bclk, Uncore multiplier to 16X, and the memory to stock speed, voltage, and timings (1600mhz, CAS 7 @ 1.65v, 2:8 Divisor.) I set vCore to 1.4, which is probably more than it needs at that OC (it's a 920 D0 chip,) but since this was a trial I was happy to just ballpark a number and see what happened.

The rig booted up perfectly on the first try, and temps were in the high 30s at idle, high 60s/low 70s at load. That's still cooler than my stock-speed / stock-cooled i7 920 C0 at work. The system didn't break a sweat with OCCT and an hour of Prime95 smallFFTs, so I'd say this trial shake-down was a success. With my Q6600, it was an effort to get to 4ghz and/or break a sub 10-second time with SuperPi 1M. Now it can be done willy nilly in 5 minutes. Best of all, with a good 25-30C to T-Junction at a sub-optimal 4.2ghz @ 1.4v, it appears that there is still quite a bit of OC headroom to uncover. Not bad at all

Oh, and I almost forgot. This was all with 12GB of RAM

I wondered the same thing, it seemed to sort itself out after a BIOS flash though and I never had that issue again.

just what I was looking for! someone running 12gb with no issues
might have to consider the OCZ's.
BTW I assume you've had no issues with your ram and using all your slots like I have...

No issues at all at stock on first boot up, or with rated speed/timings/voltages, or with the trial OC. I was actually a bit surprised, as with my last several rigs I've run 8 gigs with all four slots and I always had some issue at first boot until I set voltages in the BIOS. Even my last board, which was rock solid with everything I threw at it (a P5Q Deluxe,) wouldn't boot an OS until I manually set stock speed, timings, and voltages with the 8 gigs of 800mhz / CAS4 RAM I had.

increasing to 1.65 has done the trick, all slots are working
will stress test and make sure its stable.
