Thx Felix, would be nice to see what the other brands have got their B2B setting automatically set at... Top job sir !!
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree
Setting "0" in the bios probably means the same as AUTO. I've tested it on the MSI Eclipse and value "0" definitly boots ... at the same frequencies as 4 or 12.

I added 2 timings in this version: CPU-Tweaker 1.2, "B2B CAS# Delay" and "Idle Cycle Limit".

Thx Felix, will check it out
Possible that under XP64 I can hit the apply button a zillion times yet nothing changes...
Is there an apply button too for the ram subtimings ?

thx felix! awesome!![]()
Works great with my classified. But it seems there's already a value of 6 set with my current 988MHz 7-7-6-18. Great for us CF-users... but I was hoping for some tweaking to be done.![]()
SAE can you change any value in the ram department or just read it out ? on XP64 I cannot change anything there, there's no apply button either. Am I missing something or is it purely the OS/program related so it doesn't allow any changes

=>Leeghoofd: Changing timings under Win on Core i7 CPU is possible only with GygaByte, eVGA ,DFI and Biostar motherboards. (Memory Configuration space are locked in the bios on others motherboards)
Thx for clearing that up Felix, one of the reasons it says MC_CFG_SPACE_LOCKED probably...
Would be interesting from other users to see how the B2B is setup by their mobo's at eg 133,200Bclock and higher, Rams at 1600Mhz , 1866 and 2000mhz... just to compare data

Maybe this is why I've been having stability problems when overclocking because I dont touch that B2B setting, or any others then the 4 main timings and voltage.
Oh, its only a setting on Asus motherboards. Maybe there is something else I missed.

We will do the same thing Sir George from our side, maybe others can follow and the extra pressure makes them finally give in![]()

Changing timings works great with my Classified. BTW, I got 1-2sec SPI32M improvement on untweaked win7 x64 setting B2B from default (6 I guess from bandwidth comparison in everest) to 4 at 23x197 with RAM-multi 10x (7-7-7-18) and UC 21x.
It would be cool if people could send in screenshots of CPU-Tweaker with the default values of different configurations.
Just post them on the Madshrimps forums or so, or send them to me and I'll post them.

For me there's only "disabled" or something like that. I have to set it up manually, it's not showing any default value. The only way to tell (subjectively) what your default value is at certain clocks, is to compare default Everest BW to several manually set values in CPU Tweaker. It's this way now - could of course change with future releases/bioses (my BIOS is the latest S21T).
Which setting are you referring too on the EVGA board ? (only brand MM didn't get for the roundup). so when it's enabled you can read out the correct value in CPUtweaker or ???
thx for any input, much appreciated...

Hey Leeghoofd,
there's no option in BIOS to set it up. So I have to rely on CPU Tweaker for doing this. And CPU Tweaker only shows it as "disabled" as its default value. So only chance to get max performance out of the setting I have to set a value finally. I can only guess it's set to 6 for my settings (strap@1333 and 988MHz 7-7-7-18), but I cannot tell what it's set at as there's no default shown.
Damn. Cpu-tweaker doesn't show the default value? :-/
